Yeah. It's a cool-looking table, but it has an evil ramp right down the middle.

40 min is way too long to play. The really high scores are all achieved within 20 min or less. BTW - I really like the R&B table. It is less complex than most of the other individual tables (in a good way).

You know, you really shouldn't talk about things you don't know about.

We were playing multiplayer, and there's a 10% penalty for losing your ball. So I got up to 9 million than basically lost a million points and it just went down from there.

For my high score on Mars, my first ball lasted longer than 20 minutes (and I guarantee you that no "she" in my life has ever said that).

Can't a guy make a callback without getting slapped down? I have tried sucking less, but I just can't.

This forum doesn't usually have the honesty of your post. It's refreshing.

Re: The Ultimate Pinball Thread

The Dead Pixel Live with Mel Kirk from Zen Studios went really well. He shed a lot of light on what they're planning and even some interesting ideas on pinball construction sets.
I've split the interview out from the rest of the podcast (DPL episode #607) and posted it at: http://deadpixellive.com/interviews/...udios-mel-kirk

Re: The Ultimate Pinball Thread

Oh jesus christ. that's not what the question was about. I don't give a fuck about superscore, i'm talking the SCORE boosting, where people save states, reload when they die, and make the ridiculous high scores. should've asked for clarification before asking if you didn't understand the question Color me disappointed.

The question was goofy because you didn't know what you were asking.

To be fair, I read the question exactly as you wrote it. And also, i asked a followup about how they verify scores.

Re: The Ultimate Pinball Thread

Agreed you did read what was wrote - but his answer was not even close to what the question was about, which as the interviewer you should've course corrected on.

Re: The Ultimate Pinball Thread

Goddamn Doc Ock. I had a good game going on spidey, was at 186M on my 2nd ball with 2 extras stacked. Had a 4 ball multi going, Doc grabbed a ball and didn't let go, and others drained/etc...but that one never went free. So the game for all intents and purposes was fucked. I couldn't even make it tilt to kill that ball.

Re: The Ultimate Pinball Thread

I wish they'd release the damn thing already. It's been almost 2 months since Cap with nothing for PFX2 scheduled, but (according to Derrich's podcast) 8 more due by EOY. Bit of a drought for an overload?

Re: The Ultimate Pinball Thread

That does look awesome, though I'm a little worried it may have an evil middle ramp a'la Iron Man. Not that I would expect a table based on Ms Splosion Man to be easy. That fucking game....

Zen and TP's music man confirmed via Twitter that IGN broke the embargo on the MSM table's release date: August 31st. One week! Cannot wait.
