Re: The Ultimate Pinball Thread
I really like all the tables in the few rounds I've played each. Spider-Man is probably my favorite since its the one I'm able to get into a decent groove in. I like Wolverine a lot too, but the playfield seems small to me. I like the layout of Iron Man, haven't had a lot of time to figure the table out yet though. Blade seems to have some interesting things going on, but I only got the chance to play it once so far.

I really want to go home and play more of the Marvel tables. I only got in a few games on each. So far Blade is my favorite (crazy, huh?), and Iron Man is my least favorite. Really hate how much the ball tends to go down one of the side gutters on both Iron Man and Wolverine.

I don't remember, at least 20 minutes though. Once you hit a specific mode each ramp becomes at least 1.5 million per shot though for a limited time..and hitting the Goblin ramp, then the Doc Ock ramp(s) is fairly easy to do. So that's where my points came from, as I was only at Level 2 for Goblin, 1 for Mysterio, 1 for Doc Ock...

Re: The Ultimate Pinball Thread
My bad.
I can see this game being a really hard sell to folks based on a few trials. You almost need to sink an hour or more into a table to really start learning the ins and outs of what exactly is going on and what to do. One of the few games that gets better and better the more I play because there's just so much to learn about each individual table. As a whole the offerings are deceptively simple. Once you get playing a few games you realize just how complex they all can be.

question:
I am interested in Marvel Pinball. Do I have to spend 800 points on Pinball FX2 and 800 points on the Marvel tables or can I just spend 800 points on Marvel and be ok?

Download PFX2 the free version (it's an engine for the game) then from within there you can download the Marvel tables and demo any other one you may want.

I actually was getting sweaty trigger fingers as I was creeping up closer and closer. I knew I was going to fuck it up. What sucks is I beat you and still had a ball left. Then I lose that next ball right off the bat. I was hoping to break 200 million but beating you for the moment is reward enough. Cheers!

Re: The Ultimate Pinball Thread
Everybody probably knows this already since I'm most likely the very last person to go through the menus... But there is a page with the rules to each table in the help menu while in game. It doesn't do a fly-over (which I would really like) but at least explains how to do different mini-games.
I finally understand why I was randomly beating the Green Goblin and what exactly I am supposed to do with Doc Oc.
Does the Spider-Man table not have a normal multiball btw?
Also, I finally got my lame score of 15 mil on Spidey up to 87 mil. Still like half what Liver and Spider have but am working on it.
