Got the game and right off the bat I started it on hard (Ive beaten the first 2 on the the absolute hardest already long ago) and it was smooth sailing for me. I thought it it was almost too easy! I had to check to see if I had switched it to easy on accident, I even had fun fighting that onslaught of trolls (what about 15?) than I hit the fucking scorpion. Motherfucker that boss sucked ass! I wanted to break everything in the house. Just cheap, cheesy, gimmicky and boring!!! I was pissed, than I got to that box to rescue Pandora and the damn room kept spinning and the spikes kept coming out.... than there was the part where Daedelus was hanging and all those damn sirens kept spawning with waves of shielded enemies and minotaurs. Absolute shit. Im surprised no one mentioned these parts. It REALLY ruined the fun of the game for me.

Now Im at the top of the Labrynth and done with all that, I think Im near the end. I hope to beat the game tonight as Ill be out all night on Saturday and work Sunday. Gotta beat it tonight!

PS. LOVED the Hercules battle and I knew right away it was Sorbo! I got goosebumps cause Im a huge fan of the show!

Yea so I beat Titan tonight. It was a bitch! That flying part to get out wasnt as hard as some of you said, but that Cerebus at the end with those 3 Anubis guys was horrible! By accident I figured out that I can grab them and throw their staff at em.

Zeus was unbearable. Fighting in Gia with 5 on screen at once was way too much. I barely made it.

Did anyone here get the platinum trophy? I have to get the 1000 hit one and that hidden one where I have to beat the Labyrinth without dying!! What?!!? How is that possible?

Never got the platinum trophy. All I had left to do was finish the game on the hard level. I did however finish the labyrinth without dying and I suck so it can be done.

I look forward to trying it. Mainly cause itll be on easy and Im sure itll be alot more fun. Doing Titan right off the bat really sucked the life/fun out of it.

It's been awhile since I played the original on the PS3 but I found the Remastered version much smoother gamewise. I'm hoping to finish this game again before the weekend is over.

I loved GoW3. It was a little too shiny sometimes w/ the skin textures but I dug it a lot. Not sure If i'm interested in a remaster. How much of a push was it?

so far the game looks like a ps3 game...I mean it has more of a shine to it, but the 1080p actually makes some of the texture work look dated. Frame rate is amazing though, and I think it plays better because of it. Not worth the asking price unless you have never played it though. I say wait until it is under 15...

Yeah, I need to pick up the PS4 remastered edition. I don't mind playing again, it was such great fun.

I still have my PS3 and my PS3 copy of the game. Skimming back through this thread makes me want to replay it.

I got it for $30 tax included so I'm happy about it. Just a heads up, when I was playing the game was letter boxed as it did not fill the whole screen. I had to research it and came across a solution. You need to go to your PS4 settings and do this:

Never played any of them for an obvious reason I'm no longer allowed to mention...but the game looks fun and impressive. I posted over in the PS4 forum IGN has a review up which is quite long and good.

I never finished this on PS3. I LOVED 1 and 2, but something about the gameplay felt dated for me when I finally went to play this a couple years ago. I feel like giving it another shot one day because I love the setting and story so much.

The boss fights in this game are mindblowing. Especially Chronos.

I know I played it on PS3, but I don't own it on PS3 despite owning the 1&2 collection. At the right price point, I'll pick it up.

Foxdvd mini review of the game is spot on. I'm halfway through the game on the PS4 and even though there is some improvement visually, it won't blow you away. However, the gameplay is so much improved over the PS3 version. The improvement of the frame rate has made the game better.

This may be the worst thread title ever in the Videogame Talk sub-forum -- by definition, that would make it the worst thread title ever.

I'm going to wait for a price drop to the $25 or so range. Would like to revisit the game eventually, but I'm in no rush

I finished the first playthrough and I'm trying to finish the Challenges of Olympus but I'm failing miserably. I have only completed 2 out of the 7 challenges so far.

Wasn't it something to do with the HipHopGamer and his rage about someone actually playing a game critically before rating it, and not rating it based on how much Sony pays him to give it a 10?
