Even though I'm not much of a fan of the PGR series this title actually looks pretty fun. I'm still more interested in Split Second but with the new direction the Burnout series has gone I'll take my over-the-top arcade-style vehicular destruction where I can get it.

I like how in the trailer they talk about 'power-ups' like no one has ever seen them before.

They're sending out keys on March 8th. And it comes with a 48 Hour Free Trial for Xbox Live Gold.

Good thing they're getting this game out there before the next Need For Speed (IOW, next Burnout game from the same developers), because when that hits, no one's going to want another arcade racer.

Having had the chance to try it, it's actually really really fun. I would highly recommend others try out the public beta when it goes live.
