Arcade games you wanna see on xbla or psn?

My top five games that have yet to be released on xbla or psn:

1.Simpsons
2.X-men children of atom
3.Rampage
4.NBA Jam
5.Killer Instinct 1 and 2

Online multiplayer for all of em would kick ass. They would be instant purchases for me. Especially Simpsons  Hopefully Microsoft or Sony releases these in the near future. What are the top arcade games you wanna see on xbla or psn?

Many of those (Simpsons, X-Men, NBA Jam) are extremely unlikely due to licensing, sorry. Konami retained the license for TMNT, so that's why they can release those.

I'm not sure what the deal would be with Killer Instinct. I don't know what would have to be worked out between Nintendo and Rare, and having them not on the same system could complicate things. However, Rare DID manage to release Banjo Kazooie, and I think that game had as much involvement from Nintendo (from a publishing standpoint) as KI. They'd better leave the "Ultra 64" screen in there. I wish they could have kept that as the name of the system.

.

Well, Capcom is going to release Marvel vs Capcom even though many of the characters have been licensed to other companies, so I think there still the possibility of those getting release. It's business and if it makes money, they'll at least think about it.

The Simpsons
The X-Men (6 player!)
NBA Jam (any version, although there is no chance of the rosters from 1993-94. I'll take same gameplay with current rosters though)
WWF Wrestlefest
T2: The Arcade Game

Wasn't there an arcade version of RC Pro Am at some point? I want that.

I also want the modded version of Ms. Pac-Man with the speed chip.

You can already play it on the 360:

I wasn't that impressed, though it looked good for the time. I don't think it played very well or was all that much fun.

If we were ever going to see that Simpson Arcade game, don't you think it would have surfaced around the time of The Simpsons Game?

Although I love both games, they are not arcade games like the ones mentioned above. The PS2 version of Fire Pro Wrestling is pretty good and cheap. I would love to see VPW2. I still play that game at least once a month.

I would like that they re-do WWF No Mercy, without the slowness in the 4 game play and with the AI of VPW2. Also the should include all moves from all the games that used the same engine (WCW/NWO World Tour, WCW/NWO Revenge, WWF Wrestlemania 2000, Virtual Pro wrestling, Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 and No Mercy) and add improved customization of the characters and expand the create a wrestler capabilities and quantities.

Didn't know that Conker Live and Reload was a remake of that N64 game. Thank Decker, since you said it wasn't that good of a game, guess I'll skip it then.

Well, I wasn't crazy about it, but if you were interested, I'm sure you can find it cheap on ebay or in a game store and it is definitely backwards compatible with the 360.

Not an arcade game, but I would kill for XBLA ports of Seven Cities of Gold, M.U.L.E., and Archon. I would also love to see an update version of Mail Order Monsters.

I don't know why I'm fixated on 25-year-old EA games, but I am.

7. WWF Wrestlefest
8. Punch Out Arcade
+1 for both of them. I loved Wrestlefest back in the day.

I'd like to see Mat Mania as well -- the first arcade wrestling game.

My friends and I played through the Simpsons Arcade game in an Arcade about a year back, and it did not age well... at all.

I'm surprised we haven't seen a port of Spy Hunter or Super Sprint yet. I'm really surprised that Dragon's Lair hasn't made either service yet.

Does XBLA still have the 150MB limit? Dragon's Lair is a fairly big game due to the video content, unless they compress the hell out of it. For instance, half-hour TV episodes (which are about as long as DL) are around 250MB.

Granted, it wouldn't be an issue on PSN, but I wouldn't be surprised if Digital Leisure would rather sell the BD (which is not OAR, unfortunately). It would be nice though, as I'm sure it would work better if the footage could be pulled from the hard drive instead of the disc drive.
