The vast majority of VGtalkers have day jobs. I downloaded it already but won't be able to play until the kiddos are in bed tonight.

I played the new zombie map a few times...wow, lotsa doors and lots of ways for them to get to you. There's a teleporter involved, and it's total mayhem trying to operate it. I love these zombie maps, every damn one of them.

I bought the first one, but neither of the others. I think my COD days are winding down until MW2.

The zombie map is definitely interesting and is going to take some decent strategy to make it very far. The best we could muster last night was 9 or 10.

I haven't spent enough time with the new map since it just came out yesterday (also since Live went down last night), but I don't think you can go wrong with the swamp map in Map Pack 2. It has a great layout and it will introduce you to the Perks and Hell Hounds.

Looking at 360Voice I've played COD:WAW for 22 days. I'd say a good 18 of those were spent on the Swamp Map.

I couldn't get past round 8 of the last one solo. Got to round 13 solo on map pack 1, though.

I'd tried downloading MP3 but I kept getting disconnected from Live. That was last night.

During the day, however, something also went haywire because I started the download before I went to work, everything looked fine, and when I came home there were no new maps. Whatever...

I still got in several excellent rounds on the old maps and was taking full advantage of the double XP.

I'll try to download the new maps again tonight.

I would have traded this in long ago if not for the zombies. I hope Modern Warfare 2 has zombies, but I doubt it.

Maybe I'd like it if it weren't repetitive and boring. Give me MP full of campers anyday over zombies.

So matchmaking is working but you can't sign in to actually play matchmaking. It makes no sense, especially if we were already signed in and in a match.

Well 3 friends and I pretty much have the new map licked. We started a match last night around 11 and didn't finish until close to 4am. Made it to round 28.

First, we found an awesome room (room A) to defend with 4. We were able to keep a lone zombie nearly every round which allowed us to get tonics and the best weapons. All of us had upgraded Ray Guns and our secondary upgraded as well.

It is interesting, when you go through the portal you get an item(2x, Instakill, Max Ammo, etc). That obviously helps. I'd say on level 20+ when you go through the portal it starts spawning hell hounds all around the map each time you use the portal. Anyway, the only reason we lost is that we couldn't get a Max Ammo. Between two players we spent around 40k jumping through portals and it would not give us a max ammo. It gave us everything but the Max Ammo so by the time the round started we were screwed.

Anyway, between the four of us I think we got all the new achievements except for 1 (have the Ray Gun, Waffle & Monkey bombs at the same time). They weren't too hard. We also upgraded nearly everything just to try them out.

The new map is fun, I got to level 11 playing solo last night. I don't think I've had this much fun playing a game since Halo:CE on XBox. If you haven't tried the zombie maps, do yourself a favor & splurge.
