I was wondering since the Xbox 360 update is coming very soon (allegedly) and will finally have Movie Parties enabled, would any of you be interested in planning some sort of casual "movie night" together? Not sure exactly how often or when, but it might be fun if several of us decided on a movie to watch and then our Avatars met on Live to watch it together. I know the selection of Watch Instantly movies on Netflix is pretty sparse, but I'm sure there are some classics there we might not mind revisiting.

Anyone interested? Any thoughts?

Possibly. Would be fun with something like Tokyo Gore Police / The Machine Girl, Grindhouse .... Enemy Mine.

I'm glad there are a few movies on there that haven't been domestically released (Grindhouse (full theatrical), Day Watch w/ animated subtitles.)

I like the Grindhouse idea, although it's probably too long at 3+ hours.

Subtitles that reflect whats happening on the screen. If there is a heart beating, the subtitle text will beat in sync with it, if someone throws a piece of meat at a wall and shouts out "BITCH!" the "BITCH!" will be subtitled in blood, on the wall.

They were a lot of fun in the theatrical release (and on the Nightwatch DVD) but they aren't on the Daywatch DVD nor neither movies Blu-ray.

What's that? Never heard of it and usually After Dark, at the very least, advertises online.

Hell the least they could have done is sponsered a smaller site like this one, I'm sure nobody would have a problem with a few ads in the forums.
