Zelda, easy. Rock Band is nothing more than a fun party game. LttP is one of my favorite games of all time and it still holds up tremendously. Just thinking about it makes me itchy to play it again.

Super Metroid, not as easy this time, since Tetris is a true classic and the king of all puzzle games. But Super Metroid is more of a true "video game".


#4 GoldenEye (N64)

#12 Resident Evil 2 (PS)

Neither have aged well, but I'll go with GoldenEye mostly due to it's fantastic multi-player, which I still have fond memories of.

Tough choice, maybe another GTA would get this, but between these two, I'll have to go with CoD4, which is probably this best made FPS thus far.

I am one of the few people that don't like party games, and LttP is my favorite Zelda game of all time. Very easy win for Zelda here.

I never had a Tetris addiction. Super Metroid was one of the best games for SNES. Easy win for Super Metroid.

I have always been a PC gamer mostly, so I never really saw the big deal with GoldenEye. Sure it was a big deal for console FPS, but PC FPS was already a lot better than that. Resident Evil 2 is easily the best Resident Evil game in the series. Easy win for RE2. I hope the RE2 remake (The Darkside Chronicles) lives up to the original.

Mario vs Mario? lol The first game was a classic and single-handedly revived the industry after the crash in 1984, but Mario 3 improves upon the original in every way. Mario 3 wins.

This is a tough one. I love both games, but I have always been more of a Zelda fan than Mario fan, so Zelda wins slightly.

I don't care for "Elder Scrolls with guns." Zelda was my second favorite game on NES. (Punch Out was my favorite and I am still sad that it lost but oh well.) Zelda wins easily. Now if it had been Fallout 1 or 2 vs Zelda, it would have been a much more difficult decision.

Some tough ones

Zelda - This is close? Huh?
Super Metroid - I love Tetris but Super Metroid is just amazing
RE 2 - I'm sure Goldeneye will dominate but I'll go with the zombies.
GTAIII - Tossup mostly.
SMB3 - Figures these two are against eachother, I have to go with 3.
SMW - Another one that is sooo tough. I'll go with with Mario.
Bioshock - Pretty easy.
Zelda - Really easy.

GTA III This is the hardest choice of this poll. GTA III gets the edge because it was the only reason why I bought a PS2. While COD4 is the greatest FPS of all-time, it's not enough to beat out the game that got me back into gaming.

COD4 is on the ropes. I'm hoping for it to nail a buzzer beater to win. Bioshock looks to be a lock and should make it to the final four.

Interesting...it's my first time voting, and it's kind of an interesting idea, but I would much rather have picked a "top 8"

Some were tough to choose between, and others, I could care less about either one.

I don't want to live in a world where I have to vote against Tetris but for Goldeneye. ;)

COD4 is an outstanding shooter but only incrementally better than its contemporaries. GTA III was revolutionary.
