Blockbuster Video Game Clearance YMMV
Stopped by my local Blockbuster tonight and saw they were marking down a bunch of new games on clearance. Here are a few I saw:
Wii Super Mario Galaxy - $25 Super Mario Strikers - $15 Super Mario Sluggers - $20 PS3 Motor Storm Pacific Rift - $30 Fallout 3 - $30 Army of Two - $15 Bioshock - $20 COD 4 - $25 360 GRIP - $20 Pure - $20 Soul Caliber 4 - $25 GTA4 SE - $30 Saints Row 2 - $30 There were a bunch of others too, but these were some of the newer ones. |

Yep there are a lot more listed in the Blockbuster thread on Cheapassgamer, although it doesn't look like anyone has the complete list yet for the most recent drops.
I picked up Wario Land: Shake It for $20 de Blob for $20 It's a good way to use up any Blockbuster store credit or gift cards since the rumor is they might not last much longer. |

It shouldn't be much of a YMMV (excluding franchise stores) as it's supposed to be a nationwide thing

Like Jamezuva said, it shouldn't be YMMV. The clearance has been going on since November and they're just doing a new round of mark-downs. Looks like I'm going to finally have to bite on de Blob, as it was previously $35 and I was hoping it'd drop further.

To amend my previous statement, this is a pretty big update to the previous clearance. Stopped by the store by my office on lunch and they had a bunch of signs up saying every new game was on clearance. The newest titles, like RE5 and SFIV, were just $10 off, but there were some really great deals on stuff that's a little bit older. There were $5, $10, $15, $20 and $25 bins. There were probably about 40-50 titles in each bin, but the one I remember seeing that haven't been mentioned were:
Wii Samba de Amigo - $10 Ghost Squad - $10 Lego Indiana Jones - $15 Mario Party 8 - $25 DS The World Ends With You - $15 Contra 4 - $5 360 Prey - $5 Fracture - $10 Dead Space - $25 Mercenaries 2 - $15 Civilization Revolution - $20 PS3 Dead Space - $25 Heavenly Sword - $15 Guitar Hero WT (game only) - $25 Ratchet & Clank - $20 Uncharted - $20 Civilization Revolution - $15 Metal Gear Solid 4 - $25 PSP God of War - $15 |

I need to pick up Uncharted. $20 sounds like a good price. Gamestop sells this used for $37 I think.

I just picked up Bioshock (PS3) and De Blob (Wii) for $19.99 each, both brand new. All of these games are totally brand new, sealed, not used. Here is the complete list from CAG:

At my store, they were new & sealed. They were also cheaper than their used counterparts.

Picked up a copy of the Perfect Dark Zero CE for $10. Never played it before but I figured I couldn't go wrong for a sawbuck. I notice it is not on the "complete list" from CAG. Also on that list they have Vikingfor 360 as $27.99, but it was $14.99 at the store I went to today.
And i'm damn sure going to be hitting every Blockbuster I can find looking for Uncharted. |

These prices should be universal unless your store is a franchise location though. |

ps3 Ratchet and Clank Bioshock Wii de Blob All for 20 bucks each. Was going to pick up Fall Out 3 on Amazon but I just got Valkyria Chronicles and am almost done with Suikoden DS that I have enough games for a bit. WHen I get done with these the price will be below 40 bucks. |
