It's not on the other systems cause none of them wanted to make a sequel. Nintendo is the publisher. If you wanna be mad at someone be mad at Sony and Microsoft.

If Nintendo is in to making money, they will eventually port it to other platforms. Having a timed exclusive will help Wii U owners get excited, but isn't going to sell gangbusters. Nintendo is having trouble selling Will U systems now, Bayonetta 2 isn't going to change that. As much as I loved this game, there is no way I'm going to buy that system just to play the sequel.

They're probably referring to the dev kit. Everything that has been released so far has used an early dev kit. Games that are using the finalized dev kit will start coming out this fall.

Actually, thanks to Nintendo, you will be able to play it, you've just chosen not to. Which is why it's weird you're "still pissed" about Nintendo saving the IP from oblivion.

Uhm, Actually...:rolleyes: I get that I have chosen not buy a Wii U, and that choice has meant that I won't be playing B2. Either fuckin' way their choice to make it a Wii U exclusive still means I can't play the game. No one is harmed in this choice so I'm not sure why a few of you are trying to figure it out.

Trust me...I'll live. And I'll still post about being pissed about their decision every time Bayonetta is discussed.

New trailer looks tight as hell. A 2 Player mode has been confirmed. You can also play the entire game using a stylus :lol: Wouldn't be my choice, but it might be worth a playthrough that way. I read a floor report from someone that played the demo with only the stylus and thought it was great.

I'm with you. Have any other Nintendo, Microsoft, or Sony published games gone to the other consoles? I don't have much hope of ever seeing Bayonetta 2. I might eventually get a Wii U if the price does a massive drop. Doesn't seem likely that it'll drop enough until the Wii YooHoo comes out in the next decade.

I'd be more upset if I didn't have this whole raging war against Microsoft thing going on. (I'm in a posting whirlwind. Broken 200 posts and probably 1/4 of them are due to Xbone.)

He was just asked about how he would feel about becoming a Nintendo 2nd Party developer.
Kamiya also wants to do a sequel to The Wonderful 101 and to bring the original Bayonetta to Wii U, but it's not up to him.

Basically. The game was in development and then Sega cancelled it.

Kamiya was upset with the internet backlash about it being a Wii U exclusive. The game wouldn't exist without Nintendo and he was happy that he would be able to complete development of the game.

I harbor no ill will for it being a Nintendo exclusive. It was either them or no one, it seems. So kudos to Nintendo for picking it up. However, I have no interest in the Wii U and I'd never buy a console just for one game. So I'll never play this game.

so my recent DEVIL MAY CRY marathon (especially DMC) finally convinced me to play this... weird fucking game but liking it so far. I'm on chapter 5, game is fun but kinda difficult. I'm playing it on normal and good thing for those nice checkpoints.

O.K think I just completed one of the best games ever made! This game is just fucking Amazing; the crazy & wacky fast and fun gameplay with sweet weapons: the characters (Luka :lol: , Cereza so cute, Jeanne is badass and of course THE SEXY WITCH Bayonetta); but most of all the awesome level designs and the :jawdrop: bosses, fuck that is some creative stuff. I especially loved the 3rd fight with Jeanne. I :lol: my ass when just when I thought it was over they kept trying bosses at you. And did not expect the in that long ass epilogue, that was cool.

Anyway yes it was hard but having patience rewarded me very well, too bad people did not buy this or give it a chance because they're missing out on something brilliant.

AND :mad2: SEGA for not releasing part 2 on the XBOX 360/ONE

It's been said before, but Sega only helped in developing the game, Nintendo published and released it. Without Nintendo, there'd be no Bayonetta 2 at all.
