Assuming you're talking about Spatula, he did buy the DLC.

Hmmmmm...I think I can rationalize some jetpack spam!

You guys seriously are nuts on this. Warhawk is the only game I've ever played with a jetpack that works, and it's bad ass.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Tuesday. Bitches.

Let's try to have a good showing for Spatula, and as always, cut him a bit of slack as he figures stuff out. My plan is to try and stay on his team and help him out as much as I can, so I may ask folks to move accordingly.

Incidentally, I saw that Whistlersteve was online...or at least that his profile was. Interesting.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I listen to Weekend Confirmed in the car and I finally got to the part about Warhawk from Friday's podcast.

Two years of play and this is the first I've heard about sixaxis control in the game.

I heard that as well...meant to mention it...especially since they really seemed to like the game.

The Warhawk has a sixaxis option, and I want to say you could steer the ground vehicles as well. I don't think anybody used it for ground vehicles, but some folks swore by it for the Warhawk.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

except you have it backwards. We were up 2 or 3 to nothing when I switched to the other team. That's why I switched. It's also hard to tell sometimes who I'm hitting from the air until it's too late.

- Good turnout tonight with I think 12-13 total and lots of 5 on 5.
- Island Outpost was the smallest map I could think of to get motherfuckers in.
- APCs on Archipelago wasn't too bad.
- Team Death on Urban Strike was a damn good match.
- Lots of Star Wars references tonight.
- Turns out Supply Chain is a decent Collection map.
- Hopefully Spatula (and Cactus) had a good time.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

- In dogfight, nic asks where the mines are, and Slider texts "Where are the binocs?"
- "You want to draw?"
- Spatula and the wrench.
- Knifing Slider while he binocs

Thoughts on Island Outpost with Motherfuckers?
Thoughts APC Archipelago?
Thoughts on Supply Chain as a Collection map?
Thoughts on Chew's sweet new mustache?

I got a PS3 about a week ago. I can't play the Tuesday warhawk night as I am working then, it is actually middle of the day Wednsday in Aussie time. I can do Friday and Saturday nights sometimes.

I am thinking of getting Battlefield bad company 2, is it good?

It's fucking brilliant. I've maybe mentioned it once or twice in the thread.

We play every Friday night.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

What DLC would I need for BFBC2? Onslaught? I have found a copy here for $38, game prices suck here in Oz, they are charging $100 for GT5.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I don't think we've even touched Onslaught as a group. DLC is weird in BFBC2, some things are free, and some are not. I got the Ultimate Edition which came with some stuff, too. I've been considering a purchase of the upgrades which automatically unlocks all the weapons, but I'm not sure I'll give up the money for that.

I saw you playing Burnout last night, made me wish I didn't trade it in.
