Warhawk Wednesdays doesn't sound good, especially when I play Basketball on Wednesday nights.

I'll check, but I think Eroc has church on Wednesdays as well.

Anyway, no reason I can't record Lost.

Chew 11-26-09 06:40 AM

I'm not really saying we need to change. That's what the TiVo is for. ;)

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

sorry I left early on tuesday. I have been traveling all over PA for the last 2 weeks for work. I was exhausted on Tuesday (too much drinking on Monday night at a conference). I will not be able to make it next week as I will be traveling again. I should be back the following week.

That was me that was in the jeep ready to run someone over (saved just in time).

I'm going out of town (to DC) next week, so...

Flip?
Chew?

I'm good for this Tuesday unless somebody really wants to host.

If Flip can't, I will.

Of course, I'll need some instructions. :)

I don't think I'll be able to make it this week, I will be attending a lost and found charity auction.

To set up the game, by tab:

Start by picking the map rotation (highly recommend that you save your rotation…then just mix it up if you host in the future)

The lobby is 30 minutes, and all other maps are 20 minutes.

Lobby Suggestions:

Badlands - Fortress
Badlands – South City
Eucadia - High City

CTF Suggestions: (these need to be symmetrical and medium sized)

Badlands - Supply Chain
Archipelago - Acropolis Assault
Eucadia - Valley Battle
Island Outpost - Over the Bridges
Destroyed Capital - Spire Shut-In
Vaporfield Glacier - Communique

TDM Suggestions (I like these smaller, and they can be asymmetric)

Eucadia - Northern Bridge
Eucadia - Urban Strike
Destroyed Capital - King of the Hill

Server Options:

Name: DVDTALK
Password: forum
Max Rank: Sergeant Major
Spawn Time: 0
Message: Your call
Everything Else: Default

Advanced Options:

All default except...
Check: All Talk and Randomize Teams
Uncheck: Balance Teams (if you have both checked it will default to balanced)
Team Damage: 20%
Intermission: 10 seconds
Return Time: 30 seconds

Before clicking Start Game, make sure Randomized Teams and All Talk are displayed...sometimes they return to default for some reason.

Hope that helps! :)

No worries...as long as it's for a good cause.

Hopefully you can make it next week to make up for my absence! :)

The good cause I believe is a lot of ski and snowboard gear at very good price to me. I work for a ski resort and this is the annual lost and found sale, there are meant to be really good deals.

If everyone goes well, I can make it this Tuesday

Depending on mental load, I should make it.

Yes, it does. :)

I guess you must start this process at least 15-20 minutes early, then?

Side note: I was going to add you on my Xbox, but I see that lasted all of 2 days.

I can host this week too. I'm finally through my busy months so I should have my weeknights back for awhile. So if chew feels like venturing into uncharted waters, he's more than welcome. I can have the rotation saved as a backup, just in case.

Let's just call me the "emergency back-up". ;)

I'll let you host, that way I can go to bed at a good hour. :p

Instead of yelling "chew!" every time I stumble upon you mid-game, I'll yell "emergency back-up!" Or when you're driving away from me in a jeep... "Wait, emergency back-up! Wait!"

So yeah, does that mean I'm hosting this week or next week? I thought I was in for next week, but chess posted the general rotation like we were doing it tomorrow...

From what I understand Chess will be on and hosting tomorrow, but will be absent next Tuesday which is when you (or whoever) will need to host the game. He posted the general rotation because Chew asked for suggestions, if that's what you're inquiring about. :)

That's what I had figured as well, but I just wanted to make sure the Warhawkers were all on the same page. We're all easily confused. :) Or, actually, that's probably just me. I'm easily confused. Hell, lately it takes me 30 minutes into each game before I stop trying to use the Borderlands controls.

Well, either all that or you'll try to team-kill me again.

It sounds like we may need a larger host this week though anyway as it sounds like quite a few people will be back. So, it may be you anyway flip.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Oh, do we have a our MIAs back this week? If so, I'm more than happy to host this week.

And you know, with chess gone next week, we could add some more crazy maps... I'd love everyone that plans to play next week to contribute one map suggestion. I'll use no more than two maps per world. You name it, we'll play it. C'mon! You wanna get nuts? Let's get nuts.

Chew 11-30-09 01:52 PM

Last time we went nuts with your maps, it didn't work out so well: I was forced to fly.

Although, I did have a ton of fun sitting in my turret and taking out digi's Warhawk every 30 seconds.....

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

As long as we get one TDM with the Eucadia - Northern Bridge map, I'm happy.
