I can't see the new pics, but I've got it now Chew. I'll see if I can find it by name.

Is it better than the one we've been playing...or just different?

Chew 10-15-09 12:10 PM

Hmmm. Is Photobucket blocked for you? That's where I posted them.

The new one is just different. I like both of them.

Just different. The dynamics of the thing are much different because of the base location.

But it's definitely worthy of the rotation.

It took me a moment to process... and in that time frame, chew freaks out because this was only one map after I TOW'd him when we were actually on opposite teams.

I'm picturing Chew...determined...doing his damndest to chase down digi...not really sure what he'll do when he catches him...

so close...I've almost got him...2 more seconds...BLAMMO!!!

WTF?!?!?!? :grumble:

I've fully got your back next week Chew.

Yep...can't get there. I don't see most of the pictures folks post. :(

That sums up most of my battle encounters.

I'll definitely check it out.

Funny, I never really got into the snow map when it was first released, but we always have fun on it. Conversely, I though Tau Crater was the best thing ever when it was released, but we hardly ever get a fun game going on it.

I think I'll load both snow maps next week with something in between...maybe I'll even use grinder as the lobby. Chew should like that! :)

I hate when we fall to page 2.

Any requests this week? I'm still planning a snow theme with 3 glacier maps.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I may have a few more that can come play in the next few weeks. A girl I work with, who plays COD and resistance with her husband and some of his friends, she got Warhawk a couple weeks ago, after i had talked about it because it was relatively cheap. They are currently learning how to play and at somepoint may join us if it is cool with everyone.
Last thursday, she and her husband and 4 others that are RL friends started a room without a password though, and some asshole came in and started killing them as soon as they were spawning over and over and laughing at them, so the 4 friends quit before i even got there, then i started a room with a password and my friend and her husband practiced for a while to get them familiar, then i started one without a password and we played 2 on 1 until people joined, then i switched teams and we went 3 on 1 or 2 for a while, then more joined and it wasn't so bad. So we are going to do that for a few weeks as long as the friends come back, and then maybe we will join you guys if that is alright? if 6 more is too many, that is cool too. I'm not even sure if Tuesdays will work for them, so the point may be moot...

I still plan to be there Tuesday though...

You have a great track record in my book R2. I know I enjoy playing with Nic. So yeah, let em in when they get adjusted...certainly a better learning environment than random online games. Also, post here if you need a few people to play on a random day.

As far as numbers, I can't host that many, but I think flip can get to 12. I like the idea of 8-12, first come first served. To date, I think the most I've ever seen in our games is 9 or 10.

Pshaw. I can host 20 or 24... depending on the whims of the network.

We'll see if they start showing up...then readdress as necessary.

I do like when you host though. I look at the clock at about 6:15, and smile, because I don't have to do anything. :)

I'd like to get in on this action. You guys have more room and what time do you normally play?

I'm in CA, by the way.

We'd love to have you!

Everything you need should be in the OP, including password and recommended mic settings.

Time is Tuesdays from 5:00 till about 8:30 your time...most of us are Central or Eastern.

Send me (frizby) and flipperbaby a friend invite so you can follow us in.

DVR! That's what I'm doing.

You can watch an entire game in 90 minutes. (I just have to avoid text messages during the game.)

How in the heck did we end up with two Pens fans on here??? Heck, I'm surprised that we have two people who can stomach hockey, let alone like the same team.

Really looking forward to Warhawk tonight despite my desire to play Uncharted. I'm a little bit sick, so I might not be on my game...and there might be an occassional cough...but I'll be there!!!

Don't be so surprised there, friz. We discussed how Pittsburgh was taking over Warhawk when R2 first joined in. Now, knowing that there are multiple people from Pittsburgh it should come as no surprise that we are both Penguins fans... and hockey fans. Even though it's a football town, I know more people who don't give a shit about football than people who don't give a shit about hockey. Though admittedly I weed people out of my circle of trust depending on how much they care about the Steelers.

Plus, you're in Texas. You've got no time to care about hockey since your time's all taken up discussing cowboy boots and high school football.

Which is all well and good until it infringes on Warhawk time!!!! ;)

I'm in Texas...but not from Texas. I'm a Major in the AF, and they sent me here.

So I don't care about High School Football or hockey. :p

So, is flip hosting tonight then given the possibility of larger numbers? I should be on at the usual time.

I don't think the increased numbers are scheduled to show just yet.

It's all frizby this week.

I'm not anticipating a huge turnout this week anyway.

Eroc said he'd be there. Chew and I are always on early. Digi, Flip, Steve and hopefully Z should be in. R2 is "sporadic" and Nic is still out (I assume). I just sent Sporting a note, and hopefully Jigg will find us.

Snow theme tonight to honor the Pens...so their fans are pretty much obligated to show. ;)
