I think the most difficult thing for me in MW2 is the color palette. I have a very difficult time seeing people and as a result often get cut down long before I even consider pulling the trigger on anybody. Plus, it's difficult to practice because pretty much everyone in both the public and private matches are really, really good (or at least, monumentally better than me). Would I get better practice via the first-player part of the game? Is it any good? Is it long?
Black Ops has a multiplayer mode where you can play with AI bots and you can adjust their intelligence. You can play alone or with friends. Its great for figuring things out in objective based games or as an intro to the multiplayer game. |
Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
I either sold BO or let a friend borrow it because I can't find it. I do have MW2 though. ...not that it matters because I can't find time to play anything but half-asleep football lately anyway. Fuuck.

No one ever says "I need less cocaine." |

Sorry bitches, no time for video games these days unfortunately, otherwise I would be douching it up with you guys for sure. Job, job, job, job. On a sadder note, the activity has apparently died off that much that the message I quoted from 6 months ago is just on the previous page. No wonder we are getting over taken by plastic guitars. Now, back into hiding.... |

Watching that video, I don't recall being able to modify my Warhawk character so dramatically.
How much is all of the MW2 DLC? And the BO DLC? |

-Map knowlege is map power. know the choke points and the camp points. pay attention on a map to see where the action is happening at. -find a weapon that suits you and know its capabilities -stick to the outside of the map. Make a conscious effort to have your back to at least one of the map’s boundaries at all times moving with caution until you have a good understanding of the most traveled routes and where the opposition typically sets up traps. - Once action gets underway you don't have to sprint - Don't run out into the middle of the map -Don’t look for the revenge kill. One of the easiest things for your opposition to do is predict that you will be coming back for the revenge kill after they have killed you once or twice. -When going around corners raise your weapon - this alone can win you lots of gun battles -Use dumb Teammates – im pub matches be selfish and use them to your advantage. If you are next to a guy that is running in with reckless abandon, let him be your shield to flush out the guy on the other team. Also know that if they are in a bunch, then the enemy team knows where they are and therefore knows where you are. -play with your settings. adjust your stick sensitivity. use the default button settings to be more of a knife player. Try the tactical button settings to win more gunfights and use dropshots. |

How much is all of the MW2 DLC? And the BO DLC? Black Ops - 15 dollars for 4 multiplayer maps and 1 Zombie map. 3 map packs in total (there is a fourth but it only contains Zombie maps). Everyone has the First Strike pack. a majority have Escalation. Annihilation is owned by most but not all of us. |

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
Modern Warfare 2 is infinitely better than Black Ops, in my opinion.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
It's easy to set up custom classes, but I'd easily forfeit that for the better gameplay. Also, Mike Myers and Zombies work soooo much better in MW2 than they do in BO.
|
Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
My enjoyment of MW2 has gone down tremendously now that 1 out of every 3-5 pub lobbies is a hacked lobby. It would make it more difficult for a new player to get a feel for the game while getting some unlocks out of the way. With BO and the custom private matches they wouldn't even have to play pub matches if they didn't want to for unlocks, etc.
|
Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
Oh, yeah. I forgot you have to unlock everything in MW2 in order to use all the weapons in private lobbies. That's a damn shame. I still prefer MW3 to Black Ops, but I know I'm alone there. If you get one, Chess, it should be Black Ops. That way you'll never have to play a public match, but still get to use all of the weapons and unlocks in the private matches with us.
