Search: Xbox live arcade download

Most of the stuff on that reward system is WAY overpriced so I did a search and found a lot of XBLA games for 1,000 points. When I put them in my cart it showed an automatic shipping discount that knocked %60 off the price. So each game came out to be 400 points. Really good deal if you are looking to spend some points and don't want to get taken advantage of. Maximize the deal by ordering games that are more expensive like Castle Crashers.

1. Have to have thank you points (ie points through a citi bank credit card)
2. Have to add at least 2 games
3. "Shipping discount" increases with a max of %60 off
1 game - 1000 pts
2 games - 1400 pts - 700 pts per game
3 games - 1800 pts - 600 pts per game
4 games - 2000 pts - 500 pts per game
5 games - 2500 pts - 500 pts per game
6 games - 3000 pts - 500 pts per game
7 games - 2800 pts - 400 pts per game
and everything after that is 400 pts per game
4. Not sure yet how the games are sent will update when I find out
5. All games available are 1000 thank you points

Interesting. It appears (at least with the current discount) to be better than getting a $50 BB gift card and getting 4000 points that way, which would net you 5 800pt games. (6,000 pts = 1 $50 GC) Also you have to factor in that a lot of these games are only $5 to begin with so you have to buy 7 or more just to break even.

Totemball is on there too.

Great find, I'm getting closer to 20K ThankYou points and was thinking on getting some $100 GC from an electronics retailer but this can be helpful too.

It would be great if they start adding DLC too (Fallout, GTA4, etc.)

In Addition, if you don't want to spend money on buying XBLA, you can do the following:

For 6000 pts, you can get a $50 Gift Certificate from Amazon or Best Buy.
For 10,000 pts, you can get a $100 Gift Card from Macy's or Ruth Chris.

THANK YOU (no pun intended) for posting this!!! I have over 6000 Thank You points. I've had Citi accounts for years just earning points and wasn't really interested in getting anything, so since they don't expire I just left them there.

I've got some shopping to do!

Well, if games are as low as 400 pts, that means a Thank You point is equal to an XBOX Live point, and they run $20 for 4000 pts. So if for 400 pts you can get a $5 game, for 6000 you can get 15 $5 games, or $75 worth (am I calculating that right?). This is a great deal for those who would get use of Live points!

All the games are 1000 points (ThankYou points). That's $10. So if the game is 1200 or 800 points (Xbox Live Points) you are paying $10 for them with TY points (That's without discount).
So, paying 400 TY points for a 1200 XBL points game seems like a really good deal. They almost all of the games there (Braid, Castle Crashers, Portal, etc. just to mention some of the most popular 1200 XBL points games).

? If it's 6000 pts for a $50 giftcard, that's enough for 15 games = $75. There's no way to lose in this deal.
