Slow/Walking Zombie mod for Ledt 4 Dead (PC)
 

Hey all,

Reading around on different sites, I hear people talking about slow moving zombies/walking zombies by way of a Mod for L4D for PC.

Has anyone here actually come across a mod that does this?

Some seem slow, some seem as fast as before... Either way, it's better.

Slow moving zombies defeats the whole purpose of this game.
That being said from what I see in that video (couldn't watch much of it because it is so fucking choppy) they don't look very slow to me.

Runs fine of my computer. Maybe let the entire thing buffer. Anyway mods are use to make the game how you want. There is no reason to continue the maker's vision in a game.

I have to agree though they don't look very slow. I believe this mod came out before the SDK was released also.

As long as we're talking about the PC version, on the box I seem to recall it saying something about more levels... is that true or am I misremembering?

The video itself plays fine, I meant the way his game stutters. It's like he has constant lag or something.


Yeah, modding a game to make it how you want it is fine, I just don't see how this game could be any fun with slow zombies. What makes this game so great and fun is the rush you get from the hordes of zombies running their asses off after you, slow zombies would make for a boring Left 4 Dead IMO.

If you just add slow zombies and keep everything else as is, then it would be boring.

However, throw in limited ammo on all weapons, and more of the relentless mob mentality of the Romero zombie movies, and you'd have a pretty tense game.

I want World War Z: The MMORPG.

Wait to see how the movie does first... maybe there'll be one eventually.
