Should I sell my Wii? Never really got rid of a console before =(

So financial times are a little tough right now, and I am debating selling my Wii system with a bunch of games. I honestly haven't turned it on for more than a couple months now, and usually when I do it's only for a week or so.

The thing is, a lot of money was put into it, and not a lot of people are wanting to buy it. I have one offer for $400 for the following:

The system with original box, controllers, sensor bar, high def cables.
Extra Wiimote (missing back battery cover) and nunchuck
Gamecube controller
Animal Crossing (Wii)
WiiSports (Wii)
Wiiplay (Wii)
SSX Blur (Wii)
Mario Strikers Charged (Wii)
Mario Galaxy (Wii)
Smash Brothers (Wii)
Mario Kart (Wii) with wheel

Does $400 sound a little low? Should I just bite the bullet and do it? Any advice from anyone?

For that amount I'd sell it if you are not using it... that's a fairly good recovery of money.

Sell it. If you barely use it, $400 is better in your pocket than sitting on a shelf. And keep in mind that for every month it sits on a shelf unused, it becomes worth even less. I'm sure it'll be painful to do at the time, but months from now, you'll likely hardly remember you had the thing.

I think $400 could be reasonable. That's basically like getting full price back for a used system and Wii Sports, and then $20 a piece for everything else. That's a pretty good deal for something you rarely use.

On the flip side of the coin, you could "probably" get a little more on ebay if you piecemeal it out. But I bet you wouldn't get but $50 more and for $50, I'd avoid all the work it would take putting it into ebay. If you know a certain title will fetch a super-large sum, maybe just put that title on ebay and sell everything else for $400. But again, it may not be worth the hassle.

If $400 really bothers you, tell the person who offered you $400 that you'll give it all to him tomorrow for $425. He won't miss out on it for a mere $25 increase. :P

400 is a great deal for that. Sell it.
