Thanks for the tips gentlemen.....called Activision and they had no clue on what to do? They recommended that I do not touch it or try to remove it because doing so may interfere with game pad sensitivity? sorry, but there is no way that I was going to leave that green putty all over the pads!! The official silly putty site recommends WD-40 then rubbing alcohol. found another site that said "hand sanitizer" works best on soft rubber. Ended up trying all of the above!

I would say that I got about 99.8 % of the silly putty off! Oh, just in case you are wondering, I personally walked all remaining Silly Putty to the trash can OUTSIDE!!
