Best Buy has the Series X for $339.99 in a 'Drop' (might be app-exclusive?). And for some reason, you get steelbooks for Back 4 Blood and Battlefield 2042, seemingly without the games.

Best Buy will do anything to get rid of those steelbooks.

The deal does seem to be app exclusive.

It must have been free before because it's already in my library (same for Fallout 3 yesterday).

The epic coupon thing is back again, I bought the PC version of Alan Wake II + I remastered for $26.79

I'm down visiting family so I've only spent a few minutes playing it on my laptop, fun game so far though.

I wonder if they're gonna have another AAA tomorrow, I grabbed it but that's an end of the year game, high expectations for tomorrow.

Ghostunner is the one for today. There's still games left but they prob have now given out all the good ones (and, yes they were good).

I don't know why Epic Games keeps giving away good games without even a subscription service to supplement the cost. Maybe they want to position themselves as an alternative to Steam. But still it's got to cost them a fortune.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

They only do the dailies twice a year with the GOOD games, now and then the weeklies there's a semi decent one.

Tomorrow it's the last one Guardians of the Galaxy, then back to weeklies til summer.

It's a money sink. In the Epic v. Apple case, an Epic witness testified that it's unprofitable five years on. And free stuff is all Epic really has going for it; a worse client with far fewer features and exclusives that aren't really moving the needle. (Instead of gamers being incentivized to use the Epic Store to get titles they're really excited about, they're just waiting a year for a Steam release.) But because they're hellbent on supporting this boondoggle, Epic's had to lay off a ton of people, and it completely screwed over Bandcamp (who Epic really only bought to use as leverage in their lawsuit against Apple).

I got it but I don't know that I'll play it because it doesn't seem like my type of game but from reading about it I think a lot of people here would like it. Sail Forth is free for a week at Epic.

$19.99 for Mineko’s Night Market (Switch) is pretty compelling too.

I bought Tchia, Eternights, and Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life Premium Edition from the Woot sale. I bought Eternights separately. They were shipped in what was essentially a brown paper bag mailer. The mailer with Tchia and Story of Seasons was split in half (you could see the games inside the mailer) and the shrinkwrap was cut on Tchia. The box for the Premium edition of Story of Seasons had a few dents in it. All three discs were loose, but luckily there were no scratches somehow. I took a flashlight and checked them.
