I have a PS4 and some day down the way I may get a PS5. Which version of Spider-Man: Miles Morales is for me, please?

Both versions come with a free upgrade of MM to the PS5. The Ultimate Edition also has a complete version of Spider-Man with an included PS5 upgrade. So the question is do you have Spider-Man, and would you want to play it again on the PS5 if you had the chance?

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Also remember that both games are included in the PS Plus Extra tier subscription.

You can also buy that original Spiderman upgrade later, as I recall. I think having the regular Miles Morales disc inserted will give you the discounted upgrade path.

If you're a Verizon customer, open up the Verizon app and go to Verizon Up. Look at all offers, and you should see 50% off an Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 Core controller. (You might have to claim some other offers to get it to show up.) It doesn't have the paddles and replaceable thumbsticks that the $180 version does, but the controller itself is the same. Could be nice to save you the hassle of replacing a controller outright if you get stick drift or whatever. So, $65 + tax (down from $130 retail). Free 2 day shipping too.

Apparently this place has 12 free digital games for the Switch, but only if you redeem them daily in order. And the first day is over, so you have to buy the first game for $2 to get the next 11. Don’t have a Switch or insight into this company, but it seems legit.

They're legit (they did it last year and a few months ago for some anniversary). You don't have to register through their site or anything, just have the previous games in your account and the next one is free. I think they do this occasionally and QubicGames does it sometimes (though not right now)

Thanks Fuji! So, worth spending $2 today to get yesterday’s game (and then hopefully remember to get the next 11)?

Ha, now whether these games are worth playing (or spending 2 bucks on for 12 of them) I can't say. ;)

Interesting offer. I redeemed the first game using some leftover gold coins instead of paying $2, and then was able to redeem the second game for free. I set a reminder in my phone to go back to the site at 5:01pm (Central) to redeem the rest of the games until the 16th.

The games so far seem kind of like shovelware but  free!

Today’s deal is the Simpson’s 30th Edition Arcade1Up cabinet for $274.99, with the stool and tin.

… it’s got a $70 shipping fee unless you do Store Pickup.

That seems like it would make a decent MAME cabinet conversion, if the controllers and sticks are decent. But I haven't looked for anything like that in a while. It's possible there are cheaper or better options.

It's supposed to be trivial to add the two Ninja Turtles games to the cabinet.

I never understood why people liked the Simpsons game so much, but that is a hell of a price cut for those who are into it.

It’s just two games though. I’d go for it at $199. Maybe.

Heh. I've actually bought two, maybe three Capcom Arcade Stadium titles and Final Fight is one of them. It mostly holds up, but without nostalgia I don't think I'd play it.
