Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

The LEGO Movie Game is substantially shorter than the last few games too. Its comparable to the early ones from before they got into the open world stuff. I think I logged 2x the time on LEGO Batman 3 compared to TLMG and that's a 100% run on each game.

I had a heck of a time with the driving too. Like me wanting to throw my controller to the TV type of fun. Having said that, it's still my favourite Lego game.

It sure is! My game has taken to cutting out the audio now any time I talk to anyone. So they might say a line or two, then there will be thirty seconds of silence and then I can try to figure out what they wanted me to do.

Edit: Oops, I'm doing three things at once (and apparently can't read). It's Lego Marvel that I've found especially buggy. I haven't played the Lego Movie game.

And my first big, dumb purchase of the year: The Wii U bundle at Target for $150. DPCI is 207-29-0002 if anyone is looking for it.

You can also try 207-31-0003. That is the other XB1 bundle that's on sale.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

I think it's the regular one without any games. Some have also said that the Titanfall bundle is $250 (good luck finding one of those) and the COD 1TB bundle is $350 (which is only $100 off).

The Titanfall XO Kinect bundle is indeed $250. The DCPI is 207-31-1414.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Didn't see this posted. Microsoft Stores are giving $10 in credit for almost any Xbox 360 or PS3 game. It says the limit is 5 per transaction, but some people are getting lucky with unlimited trade ins. My buddy bought a bunch of $1 sports games at Gamestop and got $400 worth of trades for about $50. Promo goes to the 3rd. Here's more info about it: http://www.destructoid.com/trade-in-...e-285577.phtml

I am going to hit it up tomorrow.

No, he got a bunch of games. Some people have purchased hardware, but it seems like a YMMV situation. Most stores make you purchase games with it.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Just went to GameStop and bought 10 cheap sports games for about 16 bucks. Took 5 to MS store and got credit. Bought shadow of Mordor for 40. BB will give me that in credit so it is a win. Can only do once per day, but I will come back tomorrow with more and come with my wife as well.

Tried the one Target in Houston metro that said they had the Titanfall XO bundle in stock. No dice, manager was a douche and wouldn't even go in the back to check. Oh well.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Target has a 35% off cartwheel coupon for COD: Advanced Warfare on all platforms. If you can get them to price match Amazon's $39.99 price and also apply the cartwheel coupon, then it can be had for $25.99.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

I've kept my eyes peeled for a wireless 360 headset since I picked up a spare system to set up in the bedroom. Sears has this one on sale for $19.99 and it's been going in and out of stock. I didn't want to take a chance ordering it just to have them cancel it, so I price matched at Best Buy with no issues. Honestly, I'm not sure how good it is, but the price was right for what I was looking for. I couldn't believe Best Buy was trying to sell it for $89.99.

I have the X41 and love it to pieces. I imagine the X32 is just fine.

The Journey collection is/was $14.96 last week at Walmart. Amazon had it like for a good while but now it's like $17 and change.
