I bought another year of Plus from Amazon for 29.99 and finally added the 30 free days from my PS4 and now I'm good until August of 2015!

My Microsoft order just shipped. Strange thing is they shipped both the games separately.

Bioshock Infinite is $13.99 on PSN. Also, Amazon now has the digital version of Killzone: Mercenary on sale for $19.99 (same for a hard copy.)

Hmm...Pulse Elite.

@ Decker (or anybody else who has it), what's your take on the Pulse Elite wired to the Dualshock 4? Pretty decent?

You can use it to listen wired. I don't know if the mic works wired. I don't think it does. Not that it matters much, as it will be patched to work wirelessly. You know I love those headphones.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Thanks. That is super tempting, but some of the Elite capabilities (powered/wireless) seem a little bit superfluous with the Dualshock 4. Think I'll chill for a bit and see what the market comes up with.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

There is a PSN flash sale. The big one is Bioshock Infinite for $14. Even better is that I had $10 from my PS4 purchase so I only paid $4 for this one out of pocket. Awesome!

Damn. That's a really good deal.

I'm hoping for a PS4 port, but that's awfully tempting.

I really, really wish I could afford that Amazon Vita bundle DOTD. The WiFi/3G with four games at $175 is such an epic deal. Nabbed so many good Vita games through PS+ as a "just in case" measure over the months, too. Oh, well. Maybe next year.

I just got the @Gamer magazine in the mail today and there is a $30 off coupon for those Pulse headphones in there too. Hopefully they have a sale on them before Christmas.

You sound just like me. I've been grabbing all of the Vita games just so I'll have an instant collection whenever, or if ever, I end up with a Vita as well. The PS4 is going to push me over the edge, I just know it.

The 8GB card for $10 is backordered at Amazon, Gamestop has it for that price as well.

Interesting crossover glitch on the TRU website. They've got a bunch of Wii U games 50% off with free shipping, and it's stacking with the Buy 1 Get 1 40% Off deal. Got Scribblenauts and Epic Mickey 2 for $23 shipped.

I'm thinking of getting Injustice ($25) and Lego Batman 2 ($15)... it'd be $35. So tempted... but I think I've spent enough.

Edit to add: Took advantage of the multiple sales and got Wind Waker HD ($50), Injustice Gods Among Us ($15 / 40% off), and Batman Arkham City: Armored Edition ($8.50 / extra 15% off clearance) with free shipping.

... that gives us 13 Wii U games under the tree this Christmas.

Good grief.

Quote me on this: I AM DONE WITH YOU BLACK FRIDAY!

Skyrim Legendary Edition is a lightning deal right now for $19.99. Both 360 & PS3.

Thank you. Although I think my family will hate you for the next 500 or so gaming hours.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

I went to pick up Tearaway (PS VITA) at Best Buy for the online price of $29.99. To my surprise it actually rang up $23.99.

My receipt shows:

10.00 SALE DISCOUNT
6.00 VID GM BNDL

I only bought this game though (no bundle).

You must be a Gamers Club Unlocked member. They just changed up the membership perks and you now get 20% off all new games.

I told my wife about the deal, honestly not even trying to convince her to let me get it, and she said it was clearly a tremendous deal. She was tempted to let me get it, but I said it's okay. Really, it wouldn't be responsible. We've got a kid on the way in a few months so waiting another year is going to be just fine. I have to hand it to her - she really saw it as an excellent deal and it would be okay to do it. I think it helps she played Super Mario Galaxy earlier in the day and remembered that video games have some sort of redeeming value to them.

Still. Man, what a deal.
