Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

No problem. Yeah, the last couple days have been nuts with good sales. So far I picked up:

Assassin's Creed III, Dead Space 3, DMC, LEGO LOTR, NFS Most Wanted, Sly Cooper Thieves in Time, Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, and Dishonored all for under $80

Dishonored is currently $7.99 at Amazon. The GOTY version is $19.99.

Sonomabitch! I just paid $9.99 at Newegg last night. I knew I should have waited for Amazon.

It's also $7.99 at Best Buy, or $6.39 with the Games Club

Rayman Legends (WiiU) is currently $25 at Amazon... but is slated for a LD later today/tomorrow.

I already have 6 games under the tree this Christmas... should I add one more?

$25 is my price threshold for that game. And since those LD's have been going like hotcakes, I'll take the sure thing now.

Tomb Raider for $14.99. I'm on that bitch now.

I never played MW3...that's for $14.99 too. I Liked the single player on MW2. Would I like MW3? I played BF3 and Love the multi and was.... eh with the single. If I'm looking for the single player....would I be pleased by it?

also Twisted Metal is at $11.99.

Arkham Origins ($29.99) and Black Flag ($34.99) have been procured through Amazon.

Man, I love the predictability of those franchises over the holidays.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Amazon shows that Arkham Origins goes on sale in 3 hours, but when I click it - it shows the 50% off price ... will it be going lower in the 3 hours, or should I just grab it now?

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

I was wondering about the same thing myself...although with the Steam sale going on (and having picked up Lego Marvel an Crusader Kings II via the HB), not sure I even have time for another game right now (please note, this doesn't mean I won't buy another game, just that I probably shouldn't )

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

So.....Amazon has the 360 E with 250 gb HDD for $189.99. Has a download code for Tomb Raider and the disc for Halo 4. Is that worth it? My 360 has been freezing for a while and I need a bigger HDD. I've got the last white model 360. It's worked it's ass off for me but..it's starting to chug a bit now.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

If you're still going to use the 360 for a while, that is quite a deal.

Barely got in on The Last Of Us for $25...had to click on the deal 4 times before it finally registered. Beyond: Two Souls already went within a minute, oh well.

I'm not getting the Xbox One for a good long while. I'm behind on this gen alone. That whole living in the car bit made me so behind on BDs and games. Add in that my current Xbox cracker 360 is struggling at times. I've got to do it.
