Hitman: Absolution is down to $39.99 on Amazon and Gamestop. I'm wondering if Best Buy will pricematch and allow the $20 off coupon as well?

Seriously? I just bought it at full price as a Christmas present. Think Amazon will refund me the difference?

It's worth a shot. I usually have pretty good luck if it's within a week or so after I order the item.

Requested a refund for the difference. We'll see if I get it.

You'll have a much better chance of getting that refund if you call. Gamestop already raised their price back to $59.99 (must have been a mistake), so I'm sure the Amazon price won't last much longer.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Not that it's going to help anyone now that the price went back up, but the Best Buy deal did work. They pricematched the $39.99 price at Amazon and the $20 gift card was added to the order automatically with no coupon needed since it's tied to my gamer account. So $39.99 + $20 gift card = a fun weekend :)

Also wanted to point out that RE6 is on sale at Amazon for $39.99, so you could pricematch that as well and use the coupon if you really want it for $19.99.

Dang--It went up to $55 less than hour after I jumped on the $39.99 price. Glad I did but sometimes amazon drives me nuts.

I'm pretty sure the RE6 coupon won't work with a price match. It will take the $20 off whatever price BB has it for it in their system, even after they type in the price match. The only way to get it for $20 would be a manager override and you'd be very lucky to get them to accept the double dip.

The Hitman gift card coupon was different, since it's set up to spit out the gc once the transaction in finalized no matter what price you pay for the game.

If you had called them while the price was live, I can almost guarantee they would have at least given you a promo voucher for the difference, if not a refund. Especially if you told them then you're just going to return the one you have and reorder.

Titan Quest and Path to War DLC for Red Faction: Armageddon steam codes have been added to the THQ humblebundle at the BTA price. They are available if you purchased at any price prior to today as well.

Titan Quest is fantastic, but sadly, it's not the Gold Edition.

Do I have to pay extra or what? How does this work?

EDIT: Nevermind. Figured it out. I already have them on my Humble Bundle page.

Yeah sorry, it will show up at the same link you were initially emailed.

BTW, if anyone starts playing TQ and really likes it, I'd recommend just buying the Gold Edition. It really enhances the original.

What's different in the Gold Edition? (I'd look it up myself but am at work and most game sites are blocked.)

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

It includes the Immortal Throne expansion, but also adds different classes and weapons to the main game. There is also a patch out there that fix some bugs which can only be added to that version (as well as some mods that significantly change the game).

Actually, the Immortal Throne expansion is what changes the main game as well. The Gold Edition is nothing but the original game + Immortal Throne expansion sold together. So if you already have the main game, you can save some money by buying just the Immortal Throne expansion instead of the Gold Edition.
http://titanquest.wikia.com/wiki/Tit...mmortal_Throne

Note that this game, the expansion, and the gold edition go on sale often on Steam. The expansion has been sold for as little as $3.75, while the Gold Edition has sold for as little as $5. So maybe wait for the Steam Holiday Sale before buying the expansion.

ool. If I end up liking Titan Quest, I'll be sure to purchase the Immortal Throne expansion during another Steam sale.
