Congrats! that screen looks weird though, are you on iOS 9?
*nevermind I see the bug. Not enough people played the daily game during beta, apparently. This is the most stressful part of releasing a game, all the bugs that show up AFTER you go live

This feels pretty good! At least it will next time I see the global leaderboard
Oh, jb, I'm not sure if it's a bug or just a glitch on my GameCenter, but the Rainbow Board achievement hasn't popped even though I've done it twice now. No biggie, just thought you might wanna know in case there was something to investigate.

I've got some fixes done for some of the graphical weirdness and a crash someone hit, but apple is so slow, it looks like it takes them about a week to approve apps these days
Also in the next patch is a new "kids" difficulty mode, which drastically relaxes the rules, so the young ones don't get frustrated.

Is there some sort of a vowel algorithm? Because I was given a board with absolutely no vowels on the entire left half of the grid and a bunch of vowels clustered together on the right two columns. Made forming 4+ letter words awfully difficult.

Actually the letter distribution is modeled after the game Boggle ... they have a version of boggle called Big boggle, that is a 5x5 grid. So the letters in the game are actually dice, which is supposed to guard against getting completely horrible letters. There will be some instances where you get extremely unlucky, though. Best you can do is try to get to the second "level" as that will shuffle any unused letters.

BTW : The App Store won't let me leave a review claiming I had to purchase or download the game to leave one. It knows I already own the game and downloaded it already. What gives there? Do the codes prevent you from giving a review?

Lots of hit games on sale today for $.99; Legend of Grimrock, Horizon Chase, Sorcery 3, several others; so might be a good day to check out your appshopper, touch arcade, or similar app and see if anything strikes your fancy.

Kingdom Hearts Unlimited X is finally out domestically. Yes it's F2P. Before you go running away, it doesn't seem to have a severe paywall like most of these gatcha type games do. Yes you can pay money and get five star characters early, or replenish your action points. But in a somewhat unusual move, you can actually level up any card all the way to 6 stars eventually. And until the end of the month, all quests cost half the normal amount of action points. You can actually play pretty much indefinitely (or until you get tired of the game). Definitely something to check out for fans of Kingdom Hearts if nothing else.
Haven't joined a team in the game yet, so if someone here has already started and has room let me know.
Also Tales of Link, another F2P game coming out of a JRPG franchise, got released this week but haven't had much time with it.

Hadn't opened my Starbucks app in awhile, looks like they are still doing the weekly free codes for iOS apps. Most have long redemption periods, just got about ten freebies.

Anyone play Puzzle Craft 2? I'm on Windows Phone but I doubt I'd get much traction bumping that thread.
I poured dozens upon dozens of hour into the first game but wasn't sure if I could get into a sequel. Here I am two months later still playing PC2 or at least booting it up for in-game items daily. I just wrapped up my fourth village (although the achievement hasn't popped) and taking a few days break before moving on to start #5.
The game is even more addictive than the first game with all the new items, challenges, different terrain (ocean & sailing!).
Highly recommended!
