Yeah, I had already finished the game and went back to floor 12. Finally beat him yesterday. Saved wild + Oracle + Laevatein = win(method prior to reading your suggestion ). Of course even with this method it still took 3 tries to get the right cards on the table.

 I am glad you got it in the end. It took me a few times to beat him as well. I really liked the addition of those golden guys. The only problem I have with the game (and it is a small one) is that I don't really have any reason to play it anymore now that I beat it.

Honestly, I got that achievement in a way I think you can't any more due to it being patched. I didn't know it was a glitch at the time, but there was a level where you could distroy the door super fast and get over 1 million. I think that touch arcade or another site has a good thread on this game w/ tips and such. I can't get to any gaming sites at work, but I am sure you could find it w/ google.

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk
Thanks, took a shot at dragon solitaire.
Back to The Creeps. Anyone have tips on the fourth Door Buster level, "Keep your Distance"? Can't find a screen cap, but the door and a couple flowers are tucked into the bottom left corner and I can't find a weapon with enough range to reach them. |
Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk
It wasn't to hard. I had a paper cutter or whatever that thing is across from the flowers. I didn't really focus on the door until the face was gone and the upper left was clear. The flowers were destroyed but I didn't focus on them. The paper cutter cuts through enemies and hit the flowers. Once the flower was gone I parked a flashlight near the door and it was gone it no time.

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk
^thanks, I think the paper star thing is the only one I didn't try. Will give it a shot.

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk
Boss Room Blitz is the only level I haven't beaten, but I realized that if I finish this, that'll unlock the last level, which is an Endurance version of BRB. So less urgency to finish since I won't be getting anything "new," and it'll end the game.

On the Ziggurat, you wil want to break the head stone directly to the right of your flashlight and then plant a boomarang. I wouldn't bother with flashlights on this level, just max the one you start with and get as many boomarangs as close to the path as you can. You will want the spaceship on the boss waves though. You can do the same sell/buy trick if you need to here. |
Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk
The oil can sell/rebuy did the trick for me on Boss Room Blitz. I think I cycled through 4 cans on level 50. Thanks!
I also noticed that I don't have a star on Coral of the Story either. I seem to let one through in the first 12 levels. What is a good early game strategy on this one? I've been trying all sorts of stuff, but keep losing one. Maybe I'm taking down the wrong structure first. |
Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk
Woohoo...Dragon's Lair was finally updated to work on the iPhone 4. Not being able to play it for the past month was annoying.

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk
I have a number of apps that show up in iTunes as on my touch, take up space, but don't show up when I disconnect my touch. I assume it is an issue with compatability with iOS4. If that is the case, I don't think I will likely upgrade the next time they update the OS unless they bring out something I would be willing to loss apps over.

I've been hooked on Super 7 the past few days. It's currently free. |
Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk
Super 7 is a great game played it during my lunch break today. Thanks Corvin.

BTW, don't be scared away by the "math" aspect of the game. It's really simplistic, but challenging in a fun way.
My high is 251, how 'bout you Mok? |
Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk
the problem with this app is that its tough to use a touch screen and count my fingers at the same time

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk
One of my favorite Sega Genesis games was just released in the app store: Shining Force
|
Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk
Awesome, Shining Force is great. I have it on Sega Genesis collection (and I still have the cart) so I'll probably pass.
My high on the 7 game is something like 50 so far. Anyone know of a free app, or add-in to itunes, for finding lyrics and populating songs with them? Or at least displaying them while the song is playing? I thought I found one a while back but can't find it again. I think the issue with the one i found is that you had to play the tracks through the app, and that didn't increment the play count/record (which is used in some of my smart playlists). |
