I loved the first one and I'm sure I'll enjoy the 2nd one when i get around to it. Cant wait!

I actually thought the footage was a bit underwhelming. Still, i absolutely LOVED the first 2 games, and are probably 2 of my favorite action games of all time. This game is my only regret for not buying a PS3.

First two games were a ton of fun, so I'll definitely be picking this up.

That trailer looks in-game but I very much doubt that's gameplay. I bet we're seeing an MGS scenario where the gameplay graphics are close to the cinematics but an obvious step down in detail.

That looks like gameplay to me. Graphics look similar to Gears of War 2. Anyone know what graphics engine they are using?

I thought they made their own in house engine.

Never played the first two but I'm always down for a good Playstation game. Funny, when I heard his voice I wasn't expecting to see a white dude.

I still need to play God of War II.

Whatever day that comes out is probably the day I finally buy a PS3.

I can't wait for 2-3 weeks after release so I can borrow this one again!

Great series, but isn't worth owning to me.

Maybe they will consider adding a multi-player aspect this time.

I hope not. That seems like it would dilute the experience in this title.

My buddy at work just loaned me his GoW I and II so I'm just getting into these now. I think I'm probably half-way through I and I'm loving it. Cant' wait to see III on the PS3.

You know, I never played 2. Just never got around to it and was into the next gen by then. I wonder if I should pick up a used copy sometime...

If you liked the first one, you should definitely play 2. Generally more of the same, but from what I remember there's less headache levels. The first stage alone is pretty bad ass.

Agreed. And with 3 being so close, it'd be a good time to play through it as it ends on a completely high note that makes you want to play the next game right then and there. :cool:

Looks like Game engine footage, looks good enough though nothing mind blowing.

I doubt it's actual gameplay (well I mean, it could be, just mid-move clips) as those camera angles would be unplayable.
