Rock Band 2 for $110 at Toys R Us!
Go to TRU now.
PS3 and 360 Special Editions on sale PLUS a $25 gift card.
It's in the Sunday Ad. I just scored one in Atlanta.
I also figured this deserved it's own thread for being an amazing deal!

Saw this too! Sending my wife there now to get one for me!
I have RB1 and was only going to get the RB2 game by itself but for this price I just can't pass it up. Besides, if I ever wanted to add the wireless drums or guitar, those two alone add up to over what they are selling this entire package.

I got it in Lubbock, TX. I bought 2 for the PS3. They only had one left but I'm sure it's gone by now (I kinda think the cashier is going to hold the other one for himself). He was cool and let me use the gift card from the first purchase on the second one . I'm going to keep one and sell the other. Plus I still have the second gift card that I can use.

Got one here in STL. I had some TRU giftcards, so I only ended up paying $47 and change and got the $25 gift card as well. Thanks again OP.
This is my first band game, so I'm pretty stoked. I'll see you guys online!

I mean they charge $70+ for a CE of a game that just comes with a soundtrack and an art book. 110$ is an awesome price for everything you get.

I got the last one at my local store. Since I already have the game, I'll pull it out and see if I can get $40+ on Ebay/Half. That'll bring my final price under $50 for a new guitar and the wireless drums.

This is really a great deal. I contemplated grabbing one of these as a gift, but I really had no one to gift it to.
And don't forget that you can import almost all the songs in Rock Band 1 for play in RB2 for $5. If you don't own RB1, you can just rent it...same deal.

I'm pretty sure this was a misprint in the ad. When I got to my store the sign said that the bundle was $189.00. No mention of the cheaper price. I had to mention the ad to the guy at the cash register -- he hit a secret button or something and the price lowered. Anyway, I recommend anybody going out to get this do so with the ad in hand.
Anyway, thanks for posting this. I would have missed out otherwise.

Dang, I wish I saw this yesterday. I would've bought one as a Christmas gift.

Still worth a shot. They had quite a few 360 versions at my store yesterday afternoon, and since the signs made no mention of the low price the only people snatching these up will be people who see the ad and ask about it.

I had been following the thread on CAG since Saturday night, when everyone believed it was a mistake that would not be honored ... there were even reports of memos being sent around to Best Buys not to price match.
I had bought the RB2 bundle at Circuit City just before Thanksgiving for $153.80 (after using a $40 off $200). After reading all the successful stories on CAG of PM'ing and TRU honoring it, I decided to give pricematching of my original purchase a shot.
Well, it worked! I was refunded the difference PLUS 10%, ($43.81 + $4.38 plus tax).
So, I got the RB2 bundle for $105.61 plus tax.
Not quite as good as also getting the gift card, but plenty good for me.
If they are in stock, sounds like the highest rate of success was PM'ing at Wal-mart. Best Buy and Circuit City were mixed, and even some TRU's were no honoring the deal.

Well, it looks like I might have gotten lucky!
Last week I finally gave in and bought the $190 XBox 360 Rock Band 2 bundle at Best Buy. I cancelled the 'never to be delivered wireless drumset' from DDD
I opened the box yesterday, but I didn't see this thread until this morning. Of course, the juices started flowing. I decided to go home at lunch and get my receipt and drive to Best Buy and give it a try.
I got in a line with a couple of people in front of me. When my turn came I told the guy that I would like to pricematch. He looked at it and started keying things into the cash register. I was starting to think it was going to work. Then he got on the phone and I thought 'great, there goes this fantastic deal'. He was one for about a minute, but no one answered on the other end.
He hung up the phone and said to me 'I don't think we pricematch Toys R Us'. Before I could start arguing that yes, you do pricematch to them, he said 'but I'll give you the credit anyways'. My frown quickly turned to a smile and I said 'thank you'. He probably had given up because there were about 10 people in line behind me.
He handed me a credit slip for $95.26 and I can only hope that Best Buy doesn't renegade on this credit before it is applied to my acct. Do you think they can do that once they hand me the credit slip?
Thanx to TLwizard for posting this and hopefully it works out.
Chris

Don't worry, they won't go renegade on your Credit Card. It would definitely be illegal for them to do something like that.

It took three tries but I dug through my office trash(paper trash only) can to find my RB2 receipt. Hit TRU a bit ago and got $75 in cash back and they gave me the $25 gift card. I'm happier than a pig in shit.
