Holy shit. At one point in the game you get blown out of an exploding space station. Amazing.

Halo 2 sold 8 million on Xbox/360
Halo 3 sold 11 million on 360
COD 4 sold 12 million on 360/PS3 combined
Really hard to compare GTA to the others because the PS2 has a much larger console install base.

shit, my amazon pre-order says "estimated ship date of 11/16"
I did free supersaver shipping, so perhaps that is why....although I don't see an option for "game day release" when I try to change the shipping option. I suppose the date isn't firm, but should I expect it on or near release day w/super saver shipping or should I bother upgrading to a faster shipping option? Or cancel and re-do the pre-order and hope the receive on release day option is available?

I hope the snowmobiles are more than a cutscene, and I can't wait to see what post-credits mission they've come up with.
Not sure what difficulty level to start on. I did COD:MW on Normal, Hardened, and Veteran, and Veteran nearly killed me (esp. the airplane--still have flashbacks from that, "Weapons free..."). Also did WaW through on Veteran, so I may just start on Hardened...

I did the first game on easy but there was a level I just couldn't pass:

There are snowmobile races in the coop mode. Also there is a $10 gift card with purchase at BB for reward zone members. I'll be getting mine there and using a gift card I have.

I've found that it's hard to win a snowmobile race if the other guy keeps calling in air strikes.

Just changed my amazon order to release-date delivery. Hopefully that'll work. The previews are too cool, plus I have 11/11 (Veteran's Day--perfect) off, so 11/10 would be very nice.
