guitar hero III wireless guitar/batteries question

My question is about the batteries for the guitars. Santa is bringing Guitar hero III for my 2 boys. Do the wireless guitars use the same batteries as the wireless controllers? I just want to be sure I don't need to order any additional charging equipment to go along with the guitars. Thanks for your help!!!

You didn't mention what platform, but assuming it's not Wii the guitars each take 2 AA batteries.

No you cannot use the 360 battery pack. It takes standard AA batteries.

My advice...get AA rechargeables. I use them for every single controller I own.

Yeah I just switched to Sanyo Eneloops for my controllers, GH Guitars, and Harmony remote. CostCo still has a great deal on them with a coupon for a few days: $20 for 8 AA, 2 AAA a 4 battery charger and 4 (?) C and D shells.

I'm on my second set of Eneloops from Costco. I thought they used to carry just the rechargable batteries as well, but last time I went to Costco, they only had the full set with the charger and additional batteries. Having 2 chargers has come in handy, but I certainly don't need a third. Has anyone seen just the batteries at Costco (or anywhere else), or am I just starting to loose my mind???
