It's already listed as a working title on gamefaqs.

In all fairness, I think they need to patch that.

I was in a party with my brother last night and when we were playing we only heard each other over chat. How do we hear the rest of our team as well?

You have to switch party chat to game chat.

Okay, I just got the game and I thought that 4 people in my living room could play online together. Am I mistaken?

If I am not mistaken, can you tell me how all 4 of us can play online at the same time?

Thanx Chris

Are there many games that can do this? Halo 3 is the only game I've played where you and your real life buddy can both go online and play against virtual buddies.

What is Treyarch's problem with having us skip these cutscenes? If I recall correctly you couldn't skip it in their COD3 either.
EXACTLY--reminds me WAY too much of COD3. Take a lot of the fun out of it, or adds a TON of frustration if you're trying a section for 45th time on Veteran.

PLEASE--ALL cutscenes SKIPPABLE from this point forever on.

How do you play zombie mode with other people instead of by yourself after the credits, is that an onlone feature with other people or am i mistaken? Do you need to get to a certain level before it becomes unlockable? If so i'll continue online play but i'll admit that im not finding it as enjoyable as only on COD4. I just think that the maps of WAW online are way too big and too much room to move around in.

From the main menu, select Cooperative Play and then you can play Nazi Zombies locally or on Xbox Live.

I would seriously love to see a full-length zombie apocalypse game on the CoD engine. We can only hope that that's what Infinity Ward is working on right now.

I have been playing this game and its good...but it certainly is not the best in the series. I think the big problem with it is that it came out after COD4 which was awesomely good. This is nowhere near as good in comparison. I have been getting pissed off with it as well as i always seem to be getting stuck in the same spot, or team mates getting in my way. The number of times that i have been killed because i simply cannot move has been rediculous. Plus yesterday a glitch happened where i could not pick up an RPG on a tank level. That was fun. The sooner they bring out a patch for the PC the better. If this game had come out after COD2 it would have been a great title, but at this stage in the game it needs to be better and more interesting than this. I think its time to leave WW2 behind and move on. Bring on more Modern Warfare.

I bought it yesterday and I feel that the Call of Duty in WWII is overplayed now. It's not as exciting as COD4.

Alright, after having completed veteran solo a couple of days ago and playing MP for a few days, I'll have to say I still prefer COD4 as the best in the series.

Pros:

Zombie Mode is VERY cool, especially when you can get four people together
Seperate colors identify your party from others on your team in MP
Great graphics, particularly the Russian missions. Audio directionality is top notch as well.
Flamethrower
Track your MP stats online

Cons:
I hate the weapons compared to COD4
Tanks in MP
Ridiculous grenade spamming and idiotic friendly AI in Veteran solo missions. VERY frustrating.
No cutscene/intro skipping.
Dogs are ridiculously easy to kill in MP. Give me the choppa anyday.
MP levels are actually too large for the amount of players, inviting a campfest.

I bought the game but it's still in its plastic. I'm thinking of returning it for Socom. I loved COD 4 but this seems more of the same, and while I enjoy the online modes immensely, it's not the same slower-paced, strategic gameplay as Socom.

I may regret it because I hear the Socom servers are still iffy, but here goes.

You will regret it - it's not that the servers are "iffy", it's that they're royally fucked up and make the game unplayable - add to that the fact that the game still plays poorly even if the servers were good and that there are so few maps and modes and you'd pretty much be wasting your money.

Funny, I used to play lot on COD:UO (United Offensive) that included tanks/jeep and large maps - there's almost no "campfest." Tanks are FUN to fight with - I don't mean you drive tanks, I mean you trying to dodge all tanks' cannon shooting at you and you destroy it with Panzerschreck. It was fun.

I wish they'd at least give you some extra points for killing a tank. Them things is tough.

I haven't seen as much camping as I expected on the larger maps.

So, bottom line is, if I have 4 people in my living room wanting to play this game on XBox Live, it DOES NOT do that?

What happened with the 4 player co-op? Are the other 3 people online friends?

1. That was my understanding when the game first released. Do you have any first hand account of the playability of the game during the last couple weeks, after the latest patch came out? From what I've heard, the game is now playable (as it should have been at launch) but there are still issues with trophy support and finding which rooms friends are in and such.

2. That's the first I heard of this, unless you mean problems with scopes or teleporting players, which I understand have been rectified by the latest patch.

3. Seven online maps with the gameplay and all the modes I enjoyed from prior Socoms, to me, is worth $39.99, presuming of course that the game is playable.

But I'm curious whether you have any first-hand information about your first and second points, as I may be returning COD today. Thanks.

Eh, on second throught, I've decided it's not worth the risk right now. I'll open COD now and down the line pick up SOCOM when it's safer.

Yeah, I played my friend's copy of SOCOM at his house - he was really bummed about the game.

I call it a toss up between this & COD4. I haven't played a ton of WW2 games so that doesn't bother me. I did like Modern Warfare because of it's modern era, but WaW is definitely the best WW2 game I've played. I think the missions are very good, especially the Russian/German ones. I've been playing online and that's a blast too, something that I never did on COD4. With so many new games out that I've played, this one has consumed more time than any other game except Dead Space (LOVE IT!!).
