What are some specific Wii games that a 4 or 5 year old would enjoy?
My wife wanted to get my 4 year old son a Wii for X-mas so I bought a used off of Ebay. (By the way...there's no shortage of Wiis there and you can get some great deals with lots of stuff included...especially with the 25% Live cashback coupon. I paid and extra 40 dollars against a new one and got extra controllers and 8 games!).
Anyway, my kid has never really played any video games and to be honest, he tends to lose interest in them pretty quickly if they seem hard, confusing or involved...which is pretty much the only kind I own. He is not a 4 year old Halo prodigy as others seem to have.
He likes playing the Mario Kart game at kiosks at gamestores and has also played some kinda Wario game. Probably games like MK, Wii Sports, etc. but those already came in the bundle I got. What are other quick & easy pick-up games for this age range that would you recommend?
Before I started this thread, I did search for a previous one on this subject but didn't really find anything.
Thanks!

Bri...I wish I'd have known. I've got a new Wii sitting here...I'd have hooked you up.
I'd get him Wario, and, as bad as they are, like Ninjabread man or Ninja Reflex. Links crossbow training?

No sweat. I guess I could have posted it on our site but didn't think about it.
That Link's game did come in my bundle as well. Haven't heard of the ninja games but will have to check those out.

Some of the Sonic Olympics will be good, but the archery would be tough. Any of the party games stuff is good. Do yourself a favor and get the Williams pinball. Easy for a kid, and great if you use to play.

My 5 year old daughter loved the Go Diego Go game on Wii and had no issues with controls. The first one is $20 now and there is a new Dinosaur out that is $40.
She also plays a bit of Carnival Games and even will goof around in Mario Galaxy.

Get him started early...buy No More Heroes!
Seriously though, while I haven't played it, I've read a number of reviews that said de Blob is a pretty cool game. Super Mario Galaxy might also be a good one, but if he gets frustrated with games easily, he might not like it.

My 4-year old also enjoys playing Samba de Amigo on Easy mode. He dances to the songs and gets distracted watching the colorful backgrounds. He can pass all songs with either an A or a B, but I have to select the songs for him. Also, he can't get enough of the pinata mini game. He beat Go Diego Go in a few hours, and has no problems how to teach his friends and cousins how to play it when they visit.

Mentioned earlier in the thread but I also recommend Mario Party 8. Its main component is a board game(several board options) with mini-games after each turn. Its for up to 4 players so great family fun and relatively easy to pick up and play with no real complex controls and no nunchuk required.

"Seems like" being the operative words. The pointing mechanism can be tricky, not to mention the real life physics of throwing a baseball hard enough to knock over the blocks make it pretty complex to a four year old(at least in my experience). Plus you have to hold down B on your windup and release it to throw it. That's a lot to keep up with.

Some of my friends also have a 5-year-old and he loves Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart. On the former, he just mans the second remote to collect star bits and point at things, but he can actually race somewhat decently on Kart.
