Some of my favorites on that list, can't wait to get it in September.

Same here. Between the track list, if it's real, and the visual improvements they made on the Metallica release, I'm thinking I won't be able to skip GH this time around. Hope they live up to it!

Wait, why is this in the GH:WT thread? Fail...

Is there still talk of exporting the WT tracks out to GH5? What about Smash Hits?

That's a pretty good looking tracklist, but after the unpleasant experience of GHWT, I'll be waiting for reviews or a rental first. Pretty stoked about "Deadbolt" though.

Yeah, it's sad how quickly my resolve can slip down the toilet. I'm not going to be able to pass this one up.

I guess I thought this was just the general GH thread like we have with RB. But....it's not like I'm shy about admiting to being a retard, so.....

I haven't heard any of that, but if it happens then I will be one happy motherfucking camper.

I'm not feelin' the track list. There's some good stuff there but nothing mind blowing. The only thing that sucks is Petty & Mellencamp hitting GH before RB.

^ and if the Pepsi Billy Idol leak is legit, then Harmonix has some stuff up their sleeves still.

nice list... but nothing amazing... I would pick it up, but not enough to pull me away from my love of Rock Band

Nice to see Bush and Petty finally... and Sultans of Swing is gonna be SOOO much fun to play

Re: Guitar Hero: World Tour - The One and Only Thread (Part 3)

Yeah, overall I'm not blown away with the final list. As with Smash Hits, I can wait until it hits the bargain bin to pick it up. If I had to choose between GH5 and Beatles:RB, it's still a no-brainer right now to get the Beatles, but if I could import GHWT and Smash Hits into GH5, that may change my view.

Re: Guitar Hero: World Tour - The One and Only Thread (Part 3)

In hindsight, I'm actually bummed by some of the choices. Bush, Eagles of Death Metal, Muse....glad the artists are there but there were much better songs to pick.

Yeah, but that's where paid DLC comes in. Theoretically...

That's my problem with the list. It looks decent, just not great.

Also keep in mind that GH5 will quite possibly have an all new guitar and drum kit.

Some good tracks, but I'm done with GH. Might rent it or get it cheap a few months after launch, though.

I'm also confused by Billy Squier - "Lonely is the Night". Shouldn't that have been a Smash Hits inclusion?

Re: Guitar Hero: World Tour - The One and Only Thread (Part 3)

Smells Like Teen Spirit and Bullet With Butterfly Wings are huge gets IMO. Glad to see some Petty and Bush as well but there are other songs I'd have chosen first... a pretty decent setlist actually, despite my preference for RB, I'll be getting this.

I really dig the list. A lot of modern bands that I like.

Re: Guitar Hero: World Tour - The One and Only Thread (Part 3)

Cool for Tom Petty and MUSE...otherwise not much of interest for me...especially considering I have a bunch of the tracks as Rock Band DLC.

I'm still finding Guitar Hero pretty easy to pass up. I just wish I didn't have MUSE DLC for GH3, so I could sell it and be done with the franchise alltogether.

I'm torn. There is a lot of good stuff there, but I haven't even played all the way through GH:WT.

Re: Guitar Hero: World Tour - The One and Only Thread (Part 3)

Pretty nice set list. Much better overall than GH:WT. That being said, I'll probably still wait for it to hit $30 a few weeks after it comes out.

That's what I was thinking. I'm happy to see it either way.

So does this explain why we got everything but the biggest three songs from Nevermind in the RB DLC?
