The last one took 5 months to the day to close. Come on PS3 folk - start discussing!

PSN cards are now up for sale at Best Buy online.

I don't really want to talk about the PS3. However, I have been playing the force unleashed. I'm not going to talk about it though.

Finally! The opportunity for discount PSN dollars. We're going to make it out of the stone age yet.

I just got a Resistance 2 beta code in my email, but I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow for a week, so it's up for grabs. Anyone want it?

I must be missing something... $50 for a $50 card doesn't sound like a "deal" at all... $40 for a $50 card would be something...

What gives?

the possibility of sales/coupons is now real.

And maybe the PSN cards will count towards you gamer reward zone points at Best Buy thus earning you and extra 10 bucks for every 150 spent.

Is anyone having trouble with games for download? Since I got my arcade stick I thought I'd get that Tekken DR. I've downloaded it twice and I get an error when I try to install it. Maybe the third time will be the charm.

Oh well, I guess when it comes to PSN, you get what you pay for. ;)

I downloaded four demos and add-on content things tonight and had no problems with anything. For that matter, I don't think I've ever had a corrupt download or install. I know I haven't experienced XBLA, but (save for the slow downloads) I have had great experiences with PSN. It's made me a convert to online gaming, which I had always poo-pooed on before.

I have no idea what PSN card is or what PSU for a beta code for resistance is. Why would I get something in my email?

There you can register your playstation hardware and software. Sign up for announcements. Go to their forums. Check the playstation blog. A few weeks back they had a signup for the Resistance 2 beta and are now sending out the codes. They also had codes for the LittleBigPlanet beta and other stuff.

The PSN card is basically a gift card for the playstation network. Sorta like Xbox points or Wii points. You can use the card to purchase downloadable content for your PS3. Some are happy about this because it means they can make a purchase without having to use their credit card online. Others are happy because it means an increased possibility of getting PSN credit at a discount and therefore ultimately getting a better deal on DLC.

Grand Theft Auto IV trophy patch is going to be available on Monday. Maybe I'll actually play this game now. I have no doubt I'll love it, but just haven't set aside the time yet to really get into it.

Is there a way to block trophies for those who couldn't give a shit?

I mean, I have to wait for them to load each time I fire up a game, which is crap - I'd rather not have to do that. Even on the 360 I've turned off the achievement notification.

I guess I might just have to start over on GTAIV and finally play it through to the end.

I played GTA IV through to the end of the main storyline but still have a lot of the police and other side quests to do. This is where it would be nice to be to play any mission you've already complete.

Oh well, I used the cellphone cheats like crazy the first time so maybe I'll play the game straight up again since I assume the cell phone cheats would disable the trophies anyway.

Well I finally broke down and bought one....so I'm allowed in here now hehe.

I couldnt' take any more of a college football/Formula One withdrawl, it's been like 4 years with no console.

I got a beta code for Resistance 2 a couple days ago, but really haven't had a chance to play it much yet. I know that I suck at it though! I've been playing a lot of High Velocity Bowling though! Anyone up for a match, add me :)
