Can you add me as well? I'm not honestly sure if I'm a friend of DVDTalk Rocks or not.

All you people that want to be added can send a friend request to DVDTalk Rocks and I'll accept it. Yesterday was the first time I had ever actually logged on to the 360 with it. It was originally just intended as a good use for the "Friends of Friends" feature from the last dashboard update.

As for seeing the post updated recently, you can blame that on xmiyux, as I added in his band info.

I have found that many times people just blame me anyhow.

Also, for you guys trying to add DVDTalk Rocks, you can do it from the website. Log into your tag, go to your friends list on xbox.com and type DVDTalk Rocks into the search box and it will auto-send a FR.

Seriously! I made it so that DVDTalkers could easily find each other to play online with/against and I bet hardly anyone uses it.

Put up leaderboards to see how everyone is doing, and now they all want their name up there to be immortalized (at least until they're knocked off the top 10).

Same thing happened when I started posting the Pac-Man: CE top scores of DVDtalkers on my friends list. It went from about 20 regulars to about 80 people real quick.

I've often sent invites to that list when we need to fill spots, but they've never taken them .

This isn't important, but I thought I'd mention it here. A friend of mine hosts a video game night at a local bar, and the band Locksley stopped in after a show down the street. They asked if he bought DLC, and since he obsessively buys ever song released, he got to jam with the band on their songs.

He said when they tried to do one of their songs on their own they failed out.

I never ever think to do the fried of friend thing to check for people to game with. Can you even do friend of friend from the website? That is normally how i scope out who is on to decide what game i want to play.

After seeing my name go up and place 6th, I'm now motivated to play all the songs in the main setlist.

So were you the one who put this in their wiki entry?

Remember, there's also DVDTalkGamers. That one is not RB-specific.

Between the Buried and Me + Underoath?! Fucking awesome!

After listening to the BTBAM song that is going to be brutal on drums. Eight minutes long!

I'll have to check these songs out. I'm not really familiar with any of them. Still, 20 free tracks = excitement for me.

My prediction for the general reaction: commence bitching in 5...4...3...2...1...

Never heard of most bands on that list, but for free, I'll take it! I had a sneaking suspicion that those early lists (that were debunked by DLC) that featured bigger name acts were bullshit...

Also, thanks for all your hard work Shagrath on those leaderboards etc. Can't be easy and it's appreciated! (I've been on the dvdtalkrocks list for a long while, no bandwagon hopping here!)

Why wouldn't you check them all out? It's free. Are you really that musically closed-minded?

I haven't heard of most of these bands, but after checking out several of them on youtube, lots of them sound like fun songs.

Hey I'm not complainin', more content is always a good thing! But I have no idea who those groups are. Not that it means anything they may be a blast to play.

Just waiting till I can actually play some RB finally, which will not be until early next year for sure now and it wont be the Wii version

Nope - not musically close minded. Just not interested in playing unfamiliar material at this time. But thanks for making assumptions.

You are only allowed to count the Barry Manilow bootlegs as one.

I am a little disappointed that there are no songs/bands on the list that i even recognize but free is free and i like being exposed to new music. Maybe i will discover some new favorite band!

Anything on that list a little mellower like the Allman Brothers, Bob Dylan, Grateful Dead etc.? Since i don't know the bands i don't even know if they are a nice variety of genres.
