I saw that too. I'll just stick with my Amazon pre-order deal (Pre-order GoW2 get a $10 Amazon GC)

Good luck with the final boss.

You're gonna need it.

He's already finished it on Insane and just going through it again to give me a refresher and finish finding all the COG tags.

Pretty sure the reason why is because with the online order you get a free $10 GC with order of the game. Whereas with the store pickup you get the 1600 point card. Thankfully have a store close to me and this is what I will be doing for sure now.

Damn. Sucks that the $10 gift card is gone. I was going to print it out and try my luck at the store today.

If you're friend can't make it one night, send me an invite. I want to try to finish it on Insane. Think I only made it through the first few missions on my own.

I'm just going to keep my copy of GoW 1. It's too cool of a game to get rid of even with the sequel coming out next week.

I dumped it about a year back, so I borrowed a copy to run through it again.

I've played GoW2 multiplayer when the Game U Tour came onto my campus. It's awesome. They had the Wingman mode. Also picking up a guy to use as a shield is tight. Looks good.

Aye, and the single player, fwiw, is much more cinematic.

Does anybody know how to get past the fish boss with the glowing teeth? So far all I can figure out is that shooting the teeth opens the mouth but from there I'm lost.

It is abit more cinematic, but gameplay-wise it feels more like an expansion pack than anything else. They really haven't changed any of the major mechanics of the thing.

You won't get any arguments from me in these terms, but it does feel bigger in scope which is nice. I found a few play mechanics to be a little clunky that could have been refined between games.

Funny seeing a few going back and playing for a refresher course. I was thinking the same thing the other day. I think it was me and DVDVampire that went thru insane and yea the last one was a slight pain. To bad no coop with (4) and that's one reason I'm looking forward to GOW2.

Kenny J - B4EvrYng now but back to Buzz something or another.

Reviews are up. 1up gave it an A and IGN a 9.5. Reading the reviews are better though. I'm still wading through the 6 page IGN monstrosity.

*edit - heads up, looks like there is a bonus cut scene after the credits roll.

I can't wait to experience the game's "meat physics" first hand!

So what's the deal with the "special release day only of extra maps" or something like that. I remember reading about that not too long ago (which is why it kept me from buying it online...luckily the CC deal is even better) but haven't heard anything about it since.

Did I imagine it?

It's not release day only. It's a code inside all new copies of the game.

It's just there to discourage the 2nd-hand, used market - i.e. Gamestop.

Well a good review is up over at Teamxbox ...a "9.8"

http://reviews.teamxbox.com/xbox-360...s-of-War-2/p1/

There's some several new movies up as well especially the "Horde Mode". All I've got to say...damm there's some big locust dudes to take down!

Skillz, I may give you a shoot either Wed or Thursday for a slight primer. I wonder what everyone will want for Friday night, MP, single a bit of Horde or what.....

Does this game have 4 Way Online CO-OP through the main game?

Everything i'm seeing about online CO-OP has to do with the new Horde mode.
