Tomb Raider - How do I beat the T-Rex?

I've been playing Tomb Raider Anniversary and I'm stuck at the T-Rex boss. I've never played the old versions so this is only my 2nd Tomb Raider game. There's got to be more than just shooting it. Do I need to do something with the tree log spikes? Lure it in there? I don't get the "rage" thing, and that's probably why I'm losing.

Yes. You have to get him to charge you then you dive out of the way. You get him to slam into a few different walls/spikes etc. Once you've done it enough I think it pulls up a quicktime event.

That's exactly right. Just shoot it until it's angry and charges you. Then perform a shot dodge. It's a bit tricky given the camera angle but try to position yourself in front of the spikes so that the T-Rex will take the maximum amount of damage. After a few times, as Michael Corvin pointed out, you'll get an interactive cutscene sequence where you'll finish off the T-Rex.

Would've been a perfect game if not for all those silly "rage" boss battles.

I gave up on this game. Couldn't get pass the fourth floor on the Lava Room in the Great Pyramid level. I hated this level because it's timed. I have die too many time, so I just gave up and have not play it again since. I rather play the classic on the PS1, much better game than that crap.

I hated that part. And as much as I enjoyed the game in the beginning, I couldn't wait to end it once I had to do all that. If it wasn't for the advice in Stella's Tomb Raider site (www.tombraiders.net/stella/), I never would have got to the end.

Thanks for the link. After I figured out how that rage/aim thing worked I killed the T-rex in one try.

I think I'm halfway through the game but I haven't played it in months. I dread putting it back in because I know I'm going to be completely lost on whatever puzzle I was in the middle of.
