I think someone said that you can't play with a mix of network and local. It is either all network or all local, so if you and your sister are on the same system and her husband is online invite then that is probably the issue.

This game is amazing and worth every penny of the 30 bucks. I would have gladly paid the 40 retail for it. even single player it is funny, but obviously better with more people. I would get it now if i were you honestly while amazon still has it for 30

SRP is actually $39.99 (except for Wii, and we know that doesn't count anyway).

The price has now increased to $31.57 for the PS3 and 360 versions on Amazon.

Yeah after the whole birthday text, birthday sex thing, my wife gave me a new Logitech guitar so I had to play RB3 last night. Should be up for some YDKJ tonight.

Game is incredibly fun, but I agree that the "Jack Attack" stuff seems sketchy. I found that if I pound the A button my answer is more likely to take. At the very least, it needs to make a noise or some other confirmation to say "Yes, we got your answer, but the other guy rang in first".

Also, mysteriously, players online who are doing great always seem to "coincidentally" stumble on the "Wrong Question of the Day". I think that feature was a terrible idea.

I love the Wrong Answer of the Game thing. It's there for everyone. The only catch is looking like a dumb ass at first. I'm actually getting decent at "stumbling" on them by remembering the clue and not answering correctly immediately. Yeah, you sacrifice a few seconds on all the other questions, but the pay-off more than makes up for it.

I guess the key there is to not buy it from Amazon then. It's $29.99 everywhere else I've seen as standard price.

I LOVE looking for the wrong question on purpose. How is it coincidence? Isn't it possible they're just looking for it. They're usually pretty easy to find if you keep the product in mind.

Online just is never going to work when playing with random people. Too many people out there think leaderboards matter and so they'll just play one episode over and over again, schooling n00bs with their amazing knowledge of a round they've played 120 times.

So I went for the -$1,000,000 Jack Attack achievement last night. Here's how I did it, if you're interested.

First, move your save game to a USB stick and then unplug it from the system so the game can't find it and is forced to create a new one. (Alternatively, you can just change the storage device under options, but then you might confuse yourself later).

Once you have a fresh save that you can screw up with a huge loss, just play through a game until the J.A. Here you'll obviously be pounding the A button while wrong answers are up. I found I could get 3 or 4 pushes in safely for each wrong answer. Once you see the right answer, obviously don't do anything until it disappears. After it's gone, you can just pound away on A because it won't come back for the current item. This is where you get most of your wrong answers since you can hit it with reckless abandon.

If you just pound A the whole time and let yourself get the right answers, you'll find that you don't have enough time to hit the full million. Doing it that way, I couldn't get more than $750,000. Doing it more attentively, I ended up with almost -$1.4M.

Once you're done, exit the game and delete the save file you just played from and restore your original and you'll be free from that blemish on your average and rating.

Has anyone bought the first DLC yet? I'm torn because it'll take a while just to get through the 73 on the disc and it may go on sale before I'm done.

But I also want to support the game and I'm afraid that the online component may dry up before I get to it and, when I do, that no one still playing will have the DLC anyway.

The game has been out for less than 3 days, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

The excellent reviews + load of content + low price tag should help the game out, though there are a lot of gamers out there that seem to want it to fail -- "A trivia game getting the same score as (my precious) Killzone 3? LOL FAIL! 1 / 10!" ugh.

Yeah, and I already noticed a significant decrease in the number of online players. Games still filled up, but it took a lot longer than Tuesday night.

I was going to when I first say it posted, but like you I saw no need to grab it just yet when there's still so much content on the disc. Releasing it right at launch was a mistake if you ask me. They should have announced a release schedule for the DLC and let people know that new packs were coming at regular intervals. That would keep people interested over time.

I will buy the DLC once I exhaust the on-disc content. I want to support the developers, but buying the DLC before you play all of the included episodes seems unnecessary. :shrug:
