But what gave that away? That I said I created a female drummer? :P

My guitarist is always a chick. I'll probably do a female for bass and dudes for vocals and drums.

Yep, I just entered my code. Works for me, I like free, you-pick songs.

It's definitely doing a lot better at integrating DLC. I just exported my RB1 songs, we'll see how it treats those.

Loving it so far. Only put in about 3 or 4 hours, but like it just as much as the first. My band is High On Boat Paint. I'll probably make other bands for my solo play and for myself and a friend when the wife isn't home (for those long trips to Africa). Favorite songs so far are Today, Drain You and Psycho Killer, but I really haven't unlocked much.

From the last thread:

I need to delete Green Grass and High Tides. It's like a landmine I know I'm going to hit in a mystery set and fail.
You think that's bad? My mystery setlist decided to pick System of a Down's B.Y.O.B. for the last song in the expert guitar set! I lost 2,000 fans!! (Though I gained 20,000 more very quickly afterwords) I think I may have to delete that and re-download it when it's safe to do so.

--------

Has anyone figured out how to play full albums? I wanna rock through Doolittle!

Also, has anyone figured out how to start Jukebox Mode?

EDIT: Also, our band name is The Macabre Daisies, and you can see my GamerTag below.

EDIT 2: I'll PM you, Shag!

A couple of things.

1. People need to read! I asked for PM/Emails to make the band post thing flow a little better. I've gotten two! Thanks, Mike Corvin and pinata!

2. I never use the music store. Just buy from the dashboard and you can do all the background downloading you want!

To play a full album just go to Quick Play and the album should be listed under the respective artist (if sorted by artist). You just select it then I believe starts and goes in album track order.

Jukebox mode is if you go to Options -> Modify Game and scroll down.

EDIT: Apparently not.

Is it?

With our review copy, we were told that Harmonix wants to make sure the mode is the best it can be, so it wasn’t included in the final game. While you ultimately don’t miss what you don’t have, it’s always tough on us in the game press to have a portion of the game shown to us before released—and which we write about—but have it yanked from the final game. Let this serve as notification if you’d read about it in a preview, but can’t find it in RB2.

What the heck does performance mode do then?

Oh, it plays the notes even if you miss them. Performance + No Fail = Jukebox.

I thought Performance was to play without a chart? In case you had memorized the notechart or whatnot.

I'm laughing at all your band names. Very clever. Shagrath just sent you a PM.

Does knowing someone's band name let you do something? I'm kind of a multiplayer ignoramus. I posted my band name for fun, but is there more to it than that?

It lets you know who you're up against on the leaderboards or BotB. That's pretty much it.

To the guy asking about Shackler's Revenge in the locked thread...you can play it right off the bat, because there's a Battle of the Bands for it.

And L&O...stop hating on The Meat Kurtains.

We do need to get a three-band show...Mud Flaps, Meat Kurtains, & Reverse Cowgirl.

They wouldn't let me use "Shaft" for Meat Kurtains, either...so I had to spell it "Shapht".

They let my wife use "Aunt Flo" though.

The "classy" thing is lame as hell!

I couldn't make my solo band "Adreneline Spike". What the hell is offensive about that?!

My friend tried to use "Butch Cheese" as his name and was given the thumbs down.

It's probably because they are trying to impart good spelling skills.
