I'll grab both, I'm always down for some FPS action and I have an insane amount of points stored up.

All in all there is a lot of good news today Wolfenstein 400 points check, a new game that sounds at least a little interesting (more shadowrun, or psi-ops ? ) , free them my N+ theme is getting a little tiring, and perfect dark soon hopefully MArvel vs Capcom will tide me over.

I like my Maw theme, but they should release a summer theme.

Did it get taken down? All I can find is a crappy, non-premium Sprint sponsored 1 vs 100 theme.

Yeah, that worked, thanks. Don't know why it doesn't show up in the Marketplace though.

I didn't realize that when Major Nelson was discussing Perfect Dark and a free theme, he ment that today there's a free Perfect Dark Premium theme up. It's VERY nice.

Looks like no CellFactor today.

I was looking forward to something new because I am not feeling Wolfenstein like I was Doom.

I played Wolfenstein this morning (a rare case of "buy before demo" for me) and it instantly brought me back to junior high. My best friend and I spent hours playing that game and I still love it. And kudos for an increasingly rare $5 price. Yeah, I said it.

Believe me the nostalgia was there but the controls seemed a little off to me more distracting then they were in Doom. I'll give it more time though.

I've been playing UNO again the past few days. Still a fun little game. I ran into the #1 ranked player the other night. He backed out before the game started though. On the flipside I played against someone who was 6 and 335. That is some serious UNO love and dedication. At what point do you admit defeat and realize you suck at UNO?

I thought the controls in Doom were near perfect for the controller. I do agree that W3D isn't that good, but it is very accurate from what I recall from the PC days.

I can't wait!

XBLA deals out Magic: The Gathering on June 17

Wizards of the Coast has announced that Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers will finally release on Xbox Live Arcade this month. Specifically, the game will launch on June 17. Have no fear, Magic fans, unlike the Xbox version of Magic: The Gathering, Duels of the Planeswalkers is a straight-up card game. And, based on our time with it at PAX last year, it's a pretty good one.

Unfortunately, we still don't know how much green damage the game will deal to your wallet.

I'm a Magic n00b, but I liked Eye of Judgment, so I will check out the demo at the very least.

I'm a little worried that this game has microtransations written all over it. Still, having never played one of these types of games before, I'd like to try it out.

I am totally expecting that. I went through a run of about year playing Magic and had fun but it grew old but an arcade game would be perfect for those rare times I have a hankering.

Has anyone found out what happened to Cellfactor?

I am so incredibly excited. Unfortunately that hits just a couple days before i leave for Seattle for over a week so it will have to wait a while for me to check it out. :(

Re: XBLA Thread Part thrizzee (3)

Q. Can I purchase additional cards for my decks?

A. No, in Duels of the Planeswalkers all the cards in the set are available by defeating opponents.

Q. Will there be expansions or additional decks released for additional game play?

A. We have not currently announced any expansions for Duels of the Planeswalkers, however the game is extremely flexible and we are considering additional content.

Sold. If they are not going to nail me with microtransactions buying boosters than i am completely sold. If i can buy entire sets of cards (eg. the whole Legends set, Arabian Nights, Fallen Empires, etc.) then i will happily plunk down the money for each set.

Well a little late but cellfactor is out http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/ga...58410921/?of=1

I played the demo and this game is fun although a poormans UT is not a bad description but I think this is a solid buy for only 800 points. The physics abilities are not to complicated in fact the controls are pretty simple and it has a fun feel . Here is the only issue I have with it and something I worried about when the demo came is while playing I wished that the environments were destructible like red faction especially with the abilities.
