I grabbed Portal 2 and Mirrors Edge. I hadn't played Mirrors edge before, but lots of people loved it, so I am giving it a shot at $2.25. I had already beaten Portal 2, but I loved that game, so at $5 it was an easy decision. Plus I still had my $10 cart money from the PS4 launch bundles, so both were actually free.

If you plan on buying Fatal Frame and Fatal Frame 2 you can save $2 through Amazon. BTW, they are both great.

Costume Quest 2 Out 10/28 on PS4, PS3

+ Posted by Casey Lynch on Oct 24, 2014 // VP Publishing, Midnight City

Hey guys, Casey Lynch from Midnight City here. I gotta tell you, I’m really excited for October. It’s that time of year when the wind chills, the scary movies start playing on TV, and tombstones start appearing in front yards. Halloween is almost here! And this year, that means something truly special on PlayStation: Costume Quest 2!

<object width="853" height="480"><param name="movie" value="//www.youtube.com/v/jzuYQGSl_78?hl=en_US&amp;version=3&amp;rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="//www.youtube.com/v/jzuYQGSl_78?hl=en_US&amp;version=3&amp;rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="853" height="480" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

Yes friends, the Midnight City team and the folks at Double Fine have worked tirelessly in the candy mill preparing the game for PS4 and PS3, and we’re happy to announce that Costume Quest 2 will be available on both PlayStation platforms just in time for Halloween on Tuesday, October 28th.

Even better, PlayStation players will receive a special treat with it: Sackboy!

We worked with the super cool people at Media Molecule to create a special Sackboy costume that PlayStation fans can wear around town and take into battle.

Getting a character as well-known as Sackboy into our game was no small feat, we’re really glad it worked out and appreciate all the help from the always-awesome PlayStation and Media Molecule teams. You guys are the best!

Anyways, that’s it for now. We have a ton of new trailers showing off gameplay and new costumes, you owe it to yourself to check them out. We’ll be hanging around the comments to answer any questions.

Early leak of the November PS Plus Free Games:

http://cdn1-www.playstationlifestyle...sfreegames.png

The November 2014 PlayStation Plus free games in North America have been revealed, and if you were hoping for a full retail release to celebrate the 1-year anniversary of the PlayStation 4, you’ll be disappointed. Otherwise, there’s a good variety of downloadable titles that will be given away for free next month.

Here’s everything both leaving and entering the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection on Tuesday, November 4 in North America:

Entering the Instant Game Collection

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth (PS4)
SteamWorld Dig (PS4; cross-buy with PS Vita)
Frozen Synapse Prime (PS3)
Luftrausers (PS3; cross-buy with PS Vita)
The Hungry Horde (PS Vita)
Escape Plan (PS Vita; cross-buy with PS4)

While there’s a good chance The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth and Frozen Synapse Prime will include cross-buy with PS Vita, we’re still awaiting confirmation. Stay tuned for updates as we receive them.

As of right now, there’s still no word on the release window for DriveClub PlayStation Plus Edition.

Steamworld Dig!! I'm all over that one. Have come close to buying it on multiple occasions.

Also pleased to see Luftrausers and Binding of Isaac.

Vita still killing it...6 games this month.

Escape Plan is a really good Vita game as well -- uses all sorts of different control mechanics and keeps things interesting. Total space hog though and eats like 2 GB of your memory card after the updates.

I just finished Steamworld Dig. It's really good.

Strange, since we all already know what the free PS Plus games for November are, but there still is no official announcement from the PlayStation Blog about the November Free games, even with half of them being included in The Drop post yesterday. Wonder what they're waiting on...

Sony has already announced the December and January Plus games for the PS4.

December: Injustice: Gods Among Us: Ultimate Edition & Secret Ponchos
January: InFamous: First Light & The Swapper

Injustice becomes the first retail disc game on the PS4 to hit Plus. I already bought it when they had it for $8 though. I am glad that First Light is coming.

It won't. It's not a Cross-Buy title.

8 bucks for Lego Marvel on PS4?

Yeah, alright.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

Do cross buy titles share save data? I've been playing steamworld dig on ps4 saving progress to the cloud. When I loaded the game on the vita and hit the + icon on the steamworld title screen it doesnt give me an option to download the save data.

When I opened content manager on vita, same thing, no save data.

If you load steamworld on vita it just gives you the option to start a new game.

I'm stumped.

Checking comments from old PS Blog posts, it seems this game is Cross-Buy but not Cross-Save. Idiotic, and maybe the only game that falls into that category.

Damn, that is idiotic.

Thanks though! It was driving me nuts as to why it wasn't working.
