Mine hasn't shipped yet... but I double checked the "release date" faq, and as long as they don't blame it on some kind of distribution problem, shipping will be refunded if it doesn't get here by launch. I'm hoping they just haven't updated the status, and the shipment has already gone out.

In two years as a prime member, I have never had anything come later than the estimated arrival date - most of the time it's earlier. This release day arrival seems like some new deal that they might roll out for big-hype titles, so I'd think they'll be making sure that it goes as planned. And judging from my order status, it looks like I'll even be getting The Wire - Season Five on release day, and that wasn't even a special promotion.

Everywhere else is pretty much retail price. At least Toys R Us still gives you a gift card. That's probably still your best bet, outside of maybe Costco having it on release day for $5 less.

BTW, I went to 7-11 and they'll have the game available today at midnight. They'll also give you a $10 discount if you have a snickers bar with the game.
