Blast Works (Wii) $9.99 @Best Buy

Best Buy has Blast Works for the Wii for $10. All credit goes to Botticus on CAG. The game just came out in May at full SRP, IIRC. That's one hell of a drop in a few short weeks.

Gamerankings lists the game at 82%.

Says "unavailable to purchase online" when I try to add it to my cart.

added: oh - now it tells me sold out .. But still can not add for in-store pickup

Damn, that was fast. Cheapy posted it on the front page of CAG. I ordered one for in-store pickup.

it's a cool little shooter especially if you're somewhat creative.

Nabbed it at lunch. $9.50 after using a 10% off coupon. Not bad.

I don't even own a Wii, but at that price I ended up picking up a copy over lunch. Thanks for the true CAG-approved idea of using that 10% off coupon. For $9, some kid in my daughter's class will be getting a Wii game for his Birthday. Is the game appropriate/playable for an 8 year-old?

Very appropriate.

BTW - there are sites that review games for parents to get ideas on levels of appropriateness out there...

Picked one up with the coupon on my way home from work. They had about 2 or 3 left in the store.

Also got lucky ... they had 8 Wii systems available. I already have one, but my father-in-law just called yesterday saying he wanted one by next weekend. I thought he was going to be SOL.

Well, keep checking around in-store and you might get lucky. Stopped by the local store last night and while it indeed did ring up at 19.99, the tag on the little card by the games still said 9.99, so I was able to get them to change it.

Figured I was too late to get this, but stopped by and they still had the $9.99 shelf tag. They went and pulled the shelf tag after they adjusted the price for me so I guess no one else at that store (1604&281 in San Antonio) will get it for that price. Thanks to the original poster for the heads up on this deal.
