My only legit complaint about the RB/GH music game series is what happened with GH3. Still love the game, but it ruins some songs.

I added in a link to thenewno2's "Yomp" on the offical DLC post. Sounds pretty different than most other DLC out there.

My expectations for that song were very low and I didn't think it was that bad. I am not going to get it, but I hope they continue to keep firing out 99 cent indie/unsigned band songs.

Don't know if anyone's interested, but phr34k from ScoreHero is currently playing every single song on Expert drums in a row in order of difficulty. He's currently about 23 hours in, and is streaming the whole thing over at uStream.

No doubt! 56 FCs and 133 GSs in a gigantic marathon session! Also still hitting 98-99% 25 hours in. Dude's a beast! Way better than I ever aspire to be.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure that it's a custom. It doesn't look like any of the other mods I've seen for sale. Might find more info over on ScoreHero's Hardware forum.

I'm pretty dang good at expert drums (even with my crappy red pad... can't wait for the Ion), but I think my pedal foot would fall off after about the 4th hour. That's nuts!

I'm sorry, no game is worth 26.5 straight hours of my time. To each his own.

Agreed. That's more time than I would give to an actual band in a week.

I love the game, but in no way, shape or form do I think I'm actually a rock star because of it.

I think it's just someone looking for a little internet fame, fleeting as it may be.

Well, he did have over 2500 people watching his stream at the end, since he made it to the front of kotaku.

I'll be playing RB2 for probably 20-30 hours straight the first day(ish) it comes out, but I definitely won't be streaming it. Our band has to beat ESL2 the first day, which means we have to get enough stars to unlock it.

Here's a 23 minute video from the E3 Rock Band 2 presentation. It's pretty awesome, and has quite a bit of good info in it.

http://www.digitalchumps.com/images/.../rockband2.mp4

They made mention that they've got quite a few more full albums lined up for this year, but didn't mention any names.

That would be glorious. I just ask that they don't move the high-hat on limelight from the yellow pad to the red pad. I hate that.

According to the latest OXM, Dream Theater's Panic Attack is the final song of the Drum Career.

Actually, Dan Teasdale said that once Painkiller came in, it dethroned Panic Attack!
