To tie in with E3. Unknown if the Arcade/Elite will drop as well.

Not really. People who already own 360s post in the Xbox thread. This will be of interest to those who do not.

Like I. I've been waiting for a price drop. Now if they'd just bring down the ridiculous cost of that wireless adapter.

MS is lowering the cost of the 360, so it can sell more wireless adapters , oh and prolly games as well.

$15 worth of CAT-5 works just as well. It may take a little time to wire, but I'd say a savings of $85 is worth it.

Any wireless ethernet bridge will work as well. And any wireless router that can be flashed with 3rd party firwmare that has the capability to be turned into a wireless ethernet bridge could also work.

There are multiple options. I happen to use the MS wireless adapter as I got it for $40 at the time, and I was using my older wireless ethernet bridge from my first xbox on my HD DVD player.

I was making a funny

I've already got a 360, so I'm hoping a price drop pushes the PS3 lower.

But it's high time that a lower-priced 360 with a hard drive is available. Microsoft's biggest blunder (outside of hardware failure) of this generation.

Speedy's Target ad is up and lists the $299 20GB 360. And an extra $25 gift card to boot!

At least once one does bite the dust from something other than the RROD, they won't cost a ton to replace now.

And the RROD issue has been more or less resolved anyways, right?

you think best buy would match that price plus the gift card? I wouldn't mind getting some reward zone points.. plus i would want to buy the extended warranty.. when does the sale start? i've been holding off on buying since i heard of the price drop.
