This type of game is the reason why I wish turbo controllers were available for the new consoles. I think I mashed the x button over a thousand times in the short period that I played this last night. I am using the Barbarian and it has turned out to basically be a button masher. It is still very fun, though.

You can just hold a button down for repeated attacks.

Picked up a PS4 copy today, will be on later tonight. I had a character started on PS3, but I think he was only 12 or so. Is there any way to tell if the preorder thing is in the box?

It was asked before but I can confirm you can play with both multiple local and multiple online players at the same time. Great feature.

what difficulty do people play on? I started normal, and quickly went up to hard. thinking of increasing again. how does the difficulty work with multiplayer, and also unbalanced multiplayers? does it throttle the upper player?

With our Level 60 characters we're up to "Torent 1,2 & 3". Starting out new you're basically given two choices at first and complete it then another two difficulty levels open up. Also when playing with others for each person in the group added 10% in reward/gold find but also 10% enemies strength is increased. That's why it's wise to get in a group; chance to play higher level, get more XP & better rewards but at the risk of tougher enemies.

I don't think it is a good idea that all of us play with Crusaders at the same time. Joe "G00deye3-" and I were playing last night and we started his playthrough all the way through Act 1. Both of us had different characters and it made the battling a lot more even as some of his attacks were better against some enemies and mine were better against others.

I played the other day with 4 crusaders on hard and we tanked our way through multiple acts with no deaths.

Four characters of the same can pretty much handle anything as long as everyone stays together...be it WD, Wizards, Barb, Monk or even Crusaders. I'm dying to o Crusaders even with 2-3 others just like I'd like to try four WD's at the same time.

Hey Lopo...about time you got back. Seems the Diabl Bunch is growing here which is a good thing. I even saw a former "XBL 360" friend on the PS4 the other night playing this and he to is just starting out.

I was actually ready to jump back into this after playing a lot of Warframe with their new update out. I'm set with it for a least the next three days till the new Frame is built. Me & kanjji usually are on around 6-7 Central my time...she is on Eastern. By the way please send her an friends request, she got one from someone here on he topic....kanjji...just mention DVD Talk.

Also once again if anyone has or starting out other characters we cn send items for that character but most are level 30 and above. Rather go ahead and give out than sell or breakdown. Even if you don't have one yet just go ahead and create "Character Mule"...one to just ontain items for that character for future use.

That was me. ;)

My crusader is now level 15 or 16. He rocks so far but then again I'm only playing on Normal to start. One pet peeve I have is regarding his attack animation when using smite or hammers (the last two basic abilities in the first tier) --> as he is swinging his weapon, it disappears to shoot out the lightning or hammers. I'm wielding a kick ass 2H flail and I want to see that puppy flail around! I'm not sure if higher level builds use smite or hammers so may not be an issue for me later.

Also, looks like we probably won't get to play too much together as I'm usually a very late start in Central Time (10p-11p). My days of playing games at 6p are looonnnnggg gone. :D

Sorry to hear you're on around that time...well for me that's not to bad but borderland of playing longer vs hitting the bed. However my Diablo friend kanji will be gone by then since she is an hour ahead. but I could get in 30-60 minutes of Bash Time.

At Level 15 that is common with all characters. You'll unlock as you go more Passive & Active Skills in which case you'll have to fiddle around with the right combinations of what works best for offense and defense. I highly recommend using the Game Guide here....

...to get a good idea of the progression of each class, what each skill does and what each passive does. Plus you also see what skills you have coming and what they do. From experience it seems you really don't lets say..."kick butt"...till mid 20's and above but it's still fun just starting out using your raw abilities. Hope to be on tonight...might have to help kanji with one item in Warframe but I'm ready to get back in.

I'm also on Eastern time zone and I'll let you know as I might be able to get online today. That's a good time for me since it will be between 7-8 Eastern.

I'm a level 20 Monk playing on hard. Just got access to the present K&A sent me. The writing for it is in a forest green color; I don't know what sort of weapon that connotes (i.e. Legendary is Gold color). Anyway, I'll be around and happy to jump into someone's game if they're up late. :)

That's part of a set Decker. You get the other parts of the set and it gives you added attributes bonus. Better than a Legendary. That was mighty generous of Buzz :up:

if you need anything for any of the other characters Lopo...or Gator...or Decker...or....let us know. Just need the character you want and I'll see what we have.

Decker..you'll like the Monk and he's my favorite. He can single weld w/shield, dual weld, use Pole Arm, Swords, Axes but his Fist Weapons are it. Extremely fast, high damage and lots of DPH...damage per hit. Put a "Purple Gem" in on his fist weapons for Life Per Hit and your good to go.
