For everyone still playing and toying with Diablo...just a reminder that BlizzCon 2015 is November 6th & 7th so mark it on your calendars. Some rumors of possible D3 expansion or future Diablo stuff has been swirling and they always tend to drop the big news at this event.

I have the plans for the Archon Spaulders of Vitality. When I use it (X on PS4) so my blacksmith can learn it, nothing happens. It doesn't disappear from inventory nor does it state already learned plan like it does if I'm trying to learn a plan I already did. Is there a trick to it? Is it bugged?

So when you click "Details"....or click it to try and use it, it doesn't say in red, Already Known? Have you tried using another character and do it? Normally when you have a plan on you (in your bag) and hit (X), it will automatically get used and show up in the Blacksmith. You do have the crafting materials right? I know at one time you had to get some plans I think from "Squirt" in Act II...in any case these were for characters around 60-65 I believe.

Yes, normally when I hit X it automatically goes to the Blacksmith. This plan for some reason does not.
I don't know if I have the craft materials. You're saying I may need materials to learn the plan??

I'm 70 now. :dance: Feel free to jump in my game if you want to go through Act 5 again.

Good to hear...didn't play at all last night and needed a break...need to catch up and finish Shadow of Mordor...which by the way the normal game is on sale in the Playstation Store for $18.00..the GOTY is $24 which is what I'm playing.

It's been awhile since I actually picked up and used a plan and a long time if I had an issue. If it doesn't say "Already Known' and you still cannot use it, my guess is some material or ingredient is missing but with plans I didn't think there was anything but click and use. You just might not be able to use if you didn't have enough or missing something.

Might get on for a short bit tonight...say 7-8 Central. I need to clean out more stuff as I'm around 190 of 210 and my mules are already bursting at the seems

I saw you on last night when I was about to get off...actually stayed on far later than I should've. What "stuff" do you need, certain characters, certain items, armor, weapons, jewelry, etc....Yea, would've been nice to grab you and do some of the Rifts & GR's. That's what I was doing with my Demon Hunter meddling around with some different load outs & trying new stuff while leveling up my Enforcer Gem for his pets. Always easier...and more fun with two or more. I take it you're on the West coast since you get on about when I'm getting off...I'm Central.

Weapons, armor... I'll take whatever you were just going to trash (e.g., where you don't need the mats or Cube properties). My eventual goal is to have every class to 70. Now that my Sader is 70, I want to mess around with rifts and bounties for a bit but I'm not digging the Sader so will want to try something else soon.

No, I'm in Central like you. With 4 kids and a wife, I don't get to start until 10-1030 if I'm lucky. ;) You don't remember our Warframe days? :)

Already played the witch doctor and the monk and now just started on a female wizard. Right now at level 15, which elemental spells would be good fire or cold?

Oh yea...and FWIW...you are not alone. Have another friend who happened to play a lot of Warframe also and he's in the same boat...wife, three kids (one a new baby) and works six days a week. He plays solo mostly because he cannot commit to co-op anymore because he might have to quit out.

And the Crusader is a bit of a challenge and not the most exciting of the lot. Can still hit hard but I probably play the Barb & Witch Doctor the most with the Wizard & Monk about equally. Right now I have the Monk with the Sage Gear on because with it every Death Breath drop you get one extra. So I'll run him a few times in normal rifts to get Death Breath but right now I still have about 1500.

Start here and look at the attributes of the skills and runes along with the progression of the Wizard.

I've played with the Fire and Cold side but a lot depends on your armor. But that early on Ray of Frost and Cold Skills are pretty good. Magic Missile as Primary is a good one though it doesn't seem like it, it works. Frost Nova or Diamond Skin for defensive and Energy twister for Force. Passives I like Blur and Evocation not only off the bat but they are good all the way up to Level 70. Equipping armor pieces that help with cool downs, "Cold" damage and of course Crit % and damage along with Resistance is needed. Later on get a Frost Hydra, Blizzard, add the Cold Bloodied Rune and tinker with some other defensive and Force Skills...I like Slow-Time, Teleport, Mirror image and Black Hole. Getting the green Armor Sets will be a major lift as well.

As an alternative, when I leveled up my wiz, I went with Disintegrate instead of Ray of Frost. It hits so much harder, and if you take the right mana regen talents, you can pretty much cast it all the time.

If you go ZDPS build with your sader they tend to be absolutely rediculous tanks for grift 50+ with dhs or monks

I only play seasons now though, WD and DH exclusively altho I find my favorite class to be WD

Thanks Sleeper for the posting on the ZDPS build info for the Crusader. I really haven't paid much attention nor looked into the builds over at Diablofans much....I actually do for the other characters. I was trying to land the new Green Light Armor set and working with it. I was amazed how many were using the Crimson and Borne pieces (prior to latest 2.3 patch)

I was looking this morning and there are some really interesting builds going on since the "Cube" has come out. I still need to land The Golden Flense and Johanna's Argument which is used on quite a bit of the builds. I like the Light Armor set with it's extra Blessed Hammer damage but I put in Falling Sword in the mix which has had mixed results...sometimes good but seems to be lacking something.

I'm really digging my level 37 female wizard. I loved spamming blizzard on mob along with mirror image skill who also can cast blizzard.

Buzz, thanks for the items man! Sorry I didn't notice it sooner but I've been traveling to NY for work more frequently and PS4 remote play doesn't work too well on hotel wifi. ;)

NP...they don't do me any good just breaking down so I figured might as well send them to you and see if they might help or not.

I did play the Crusader quite a bit and did land the Golden Flense and Johanna's Argument but taking off the Maximus took a lot of strength off. The Blessed Hammers do the job but that's about it. I haven't messed with the Golden Flense yet which took about (12) tries upgrading a Rare.

Ok, completely done with the story. My crusader is level 70 (32). What is the best course of action now for a fresh 70 with no set gear? Do bounties in Act 1 to try to get the Royal Ring of Grandeur? Do all the bounties? Do normal rifts to get greater rift keys? Should I spend my blood shards? If I only have 1 legendary item, should I cube it or keep it?

I would say use the cube to upgrade a dual-hand flail, and crusader only shield (not a regular shield).

There's no point extracting a legendary power if you only have the one legendary. Save that until you have multiple legendaries with powers you want on all of them.

having the ring is important, but not really until you have 3 set pieces, so I wouldn't concentrate on that yet. Do bounties for all the acts (only where there is a bonus though) to build up a good supply of those special ingredients. Meanwhile do rifts at as high a difficulty as you can, but still finish in a reasonable amount of time. Definitely spend your blood shards, you will max out, and they will go to waste otherwise.

Bounties for the materials which you do need when you do recipes with the Cube. Always look for the ones with the "Bonus" and do them...two-for-one

Then do Rifts to get the Greater Rift Keys....I've actually landed Green items doing the Rifts. And for some reason I've seen more of the Goblins doing normal Rifts....all of them including those who drop the Blood Shards. The higher, the better chance at getting Elites and you need Elites since they drop that important material...Deaths Breath

Greater Rifts to land Legendary & Green items at the end, level your Legendary gem up and grab the blood shards. Also you want to try as Joe said higher but don't stretch yourself. You'll set a new personal best which will increase your Blood Shard Capacity that you can carry.

I'll run some Rifts and greater Rifts with you if you want. Can never have enough Deaths breath, Blood Shards or Legendary & Green items. It's also a good idea to run the same characters in case one is needing something particular the odds are better with two or more instead of one. I probably by the way have a spare RRoG I can send you if you want to break it down later for the Cube. Of course having one with a socket is a plus for your Legendary Gems.

A lot of games are coming up but a reminder that BlizzCon is this weekend. Apparently there is one panel on Diablo 3 according to IGN.... it promises a look at new zones, armor sets, legendary powers, monsters, features, and more

Given how the PC releases have been (vanilla in May 2012, Reaper of Souls in April of 2014), next spring would be the right time for a new expansion. Announcing one at Blizzcon would fit that schedule, but there's very little chance of that happening.

Still, it's nice they're putting out content patches.

I started my last character (class wise for the achievement), and it was also a female wizard about a week ago. At level 19 currently, just having a hard time keeping her alive (only on expert right now)...she seems plenty strong, just her defense is rather squishy and it probably doesn't help that I'm trying to do a double wizard thing with enchantress as my follower. Which probably means I'll have to go back to Templar yet again.

In all seriousness, that is probably my biggest gripe since I played over a hundred hours and 5..now 6 characters worth of play time...the enchantress and scoundrel are practically useless...even if you get good gear for them, the Templar always seems to win out. Just frustrating because I want the variety, maybe I'm missing something.
