Nope. That didn't work. Not only that, but it over-wrote the save game that was on there, so the 3-4 missions I had done at the beginning of the game were wiped and I had to start over.

I just hope they add more "stuff" to the game overall - was once again pissed that there was nothing to do at the end of the Lost and Damned.

Gotta hand it to Rockstar, they have balls to name their next expansion like this. Sadly, it will get a ton of backlash, from the name and the people who defend it.

Question for those with the PS3 version:

Can you remember if it was ever possible to blow cars apart with the Annihilator (chopper)?

I swear I was able to do this. Recently I played the PS3 version at a friend's house and was laughing at no matter how many rounds we fired from the chopper, cars would not blow up.

Earlier this year I bought the 360 version so I could play Lost and the Damned. I've never played with Niko on the 360. When I used the Annihilator in the 360 version cars would instantly explode when I shot them with the chopper.

I started thinking maybe the PS3 version got patched to change the behavior. Very strange. Just looking for users' experience with this.

Good DLC in my opinion, but Kotaku is up to its usual shoddy "journalism". Well I tried a regular Niko game on the 360 and I also could not blow up cars with the chopper. Only seems to work in the LATD DLC. Must be faulty memory on my part.

The Lost and Damned is a MUCH better installment than Niko's story. Shorter, yes but the imporvment on the vehicle physics (and yes, I actually like the driving in GTA IV), the characters, & STORY are much more involving. This time out there is no masking that all the players involved are scumbags (including your player) and all the shit goes down within your own brotherhood.

I highly recommend picking up the lost and the damned - even the side missions after you beat the main game are solid this time out and there were multiple things I missed since my last post (stating there was once again nothing to do after beating it) like:

I can't believe how long they've taken with releasing DLC for this game. By the time the 3rd DLC comes out Saints Row 3 will be released.

I think it's all timing and given the amount of time it takes to create these DLC's (there is A LOT of attention given to them, the lost and damned really is a stand alone game - 5 hours more added on and it would have sealed the deal even more).
