I see there's this yoga mat thing being sold separately, would that work for heavy carpet? Putting the mat between the board and the carpet?

I kinda doubt Best Buy will allow this, but here's
a $10 coupon for video games and video game accessories.
They seem to be a lot more strict on coupons lately, which is why I'm not counting on this working.

I'm thinking of picking this up down the road, but knowing Nintendo, there will not be a price drop, ever. Will just have to luck into some coupons and/or sales.

I think it is also to keep you from slipping and sliding in your socks if you use it on a bare floor.
I scored a wii for my mom today! Late Mother's Day/Early birthday present. Now if I can get wii fit tomorrow, I'll keep it for myself and let her have my preorder when it arrives. I wonder if the line will be out the door at Target like it was for Rock Band.

I walked into a 24 hour Wal-Mart this morning at 7am to get one. There were two moms there ahead of me, each one bought two Wii Fits and I got one. They weren't even out on the floor yet, they had to be fetched from the back. The lady who rung us up said we were the first ones to buy them.

yikes! BestBuy.com went from coming soon to sold out online immediately. Hopefully it changes as stores update their stock (for those of us with jobs)

I went to the Baltimore Target at 8am and there were about 10-15 people lined up outside. They seemed to have plenty in stock and we all walked out of there with one. I think I was the youngest one in line (lots of soccer moms and dads there)!

Every house will have a wii fit. This thing is going to explode.
What do people always complain about? Never having enough time to get away from the house to get to the gym.

I hope Nintendo figures out the production demand on this one. Although I think this might just be like the wii, and there will be demand long down the road..

I ordered one through my Sam's Club last night. Said they had them in stock, but my order won't be available until probably tomorrow. I'll probably swing by and see if I can pick one up, and cancel my order.

I went right at 8:00 to Target and picked one up. Brought it home and used it for thirty minutes straight.
I used to be in shape (competitive swimmer), but since quitting a few years back I definitely packed on a few pounds and lost a lot of stamina. Big surprise, this thing told me I was overweight, but in 30 minutes I lost half a pound. Granted, that isn't miraculous weight loss or anything, but it was a lot of fun and I could actually feel my muscles burning.
Overall, definitely worth the 90 bucks.

Just picked up my Wii Fit as well at a Gamestop, only one other person was there and they didn't even have a pre-order....I was kind of surprised. I also picked up a Wii at a Wal-Mart yesterday for a co-worker and there was at least 5-6 in the case too.
