Not to be sarcastic, but how about using socks? Would that help? I will be trying mine in about an hour. Maybe its too slippery with socks

Yes, I think socks would probably be too slippery for many of the activities.

I joined wiialerts.com on June 6th because I couldn't find a Wii Fit anywhere. They send alerts pretty regularly but as soon as I clicked on the link it was sold out. Today it was available in Circuit City of all places. It let me check out and it has an estimated ship date of tomorrow, so I'm hopeful.

So, wiialerts.com

And I got Mario Kart, so if this comes through, I'm complete for now.

I was thinking of getting one to help avoid this issue.

That was until I read some negative reviews saying that the cover was causing incorrect weight readings during the daily body test, so now I am reconsidering it.

Does anyone have one of these board covers, and does it seem to effect the weight results?
Do you have the extension feet on the board, with the cover?

Thanks
I have a silicone cover and the extension feet on. The weight matches my scale so mine doesn't seem off at all. Not only does the cover keep the board clean, but it also stopped my feet from sweating which is very helpful in some of the yoga poses. :-)

Cool thanks for the info.
Which (of the many) covers did you buy?

Then the cover still gets dirty.

Do you also cover your furniture and remote controls with plastic?

Huh?
I don't have a cover on my balance board now.
I'm hoping the cover will help resolve the dirt issue and protect the board.
Its a white board, so dirt shows up really prominently on it.

I'm never quick enough, but thanks for updating. Maybe I'll get lucky one of these days.

Target is supposed to have these on Sunday. I've never bought a high-demand item, so I'm unsure what to expect. Apparently they don't do vouchers or anything.

I'm continuing my "Wii Fit Challenge" on the show I'm working on. June was a bit up and down, but July should allow me to get back on schedule.

If anyone is interested, you can see my stuff here:

That was cool.

My son (age 3) likes to do Wii Fit with me as well. He mainly watches and gives me a high-five when I get a new record or unlock something. I did the 2-person run with him and he beat me because he shakes his arms so much, lol.

Thanks everyone! It's been an interesting experience, that's for sure. I'm hoping I can really kick it into gear in July and accomplish something.

I suspect its for a silicone cover for the Wii Fit, not the Wii Fit itself.

Don't know if you had any luck, someone from my work tried and they said they had 7 people lined up at opening but got 0 Wii Fits--kind of lame to have something in the ad and not assure you have at least 1 or 2 in stock.

One thing I don't like is when you gain weight, it asks you for a reason, but they are all stuff like eating bad or not exercising. There is not a selection for muscle gain or even water fluctuations. Like if you weigh in at 9 am and then weigh in 2 pounds heavier at 9pm they want to know why. Duh.

I was out of town for 4 days and did great on my diet. Only ate salads, and avoided breads, pasta, sweets. I also walked a ton every day (to the point where I had muscle soreness.) I came back and I weighed 3 pounds heavier. My body fat scale also showed the weight gain, but it indicated that my body fat percentage had gone down a full 2 percent. Yet here is the Wii Fit making me feel fat and wanting to know why I gained weight.

Another show appearance for me:

I'm down 10 pounds and feeling great. So far, so good!
